"Morning Crys- aweee." I heard Kili say, at least I think it was Kili.

"Hi cou'in Fiwi." Ferin, how are you awake before me?

"Hey Ferin, wanna wake mummy up?" I can see that smirk Fili!! I can see it!!

"But mummy might get mad." Yay, smart Ferin, I taught you well.

"Don't worry Ferin. She won't be." Dammit Fili, you know I will.

"Oh, okay!" Why are you so chirpy about waking me up Ferin.

"Don't you dare!" I groaned, sitting up.

"Told you." I chuckled.

"Ferin learned not to wake me up after Elrond tried to a few weeks ago." I said, rubbing my eyes.

"Ada was in trouble." Ferin. Don't tell them.

"She said he got no more kisses." Geez Ferin!

Fili is literally rolling on the floor laughing.

"Ferin, you know what?" I asked.

"What mama?" Gah his cuteness.

"What's for breakfast?" I asked him.

Ferin smiled. "Cousin Kili is cooking for us."

"You let Kili cook?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes." He nodded.

"If he burns down my kitchen I swear I will," I covered Ferin's ears. "Murder you."

"Fine, I'll go make sure he doesn't." Fili said, walking down to the kitchen.

"Mama, when will ada come home?" Ferin asked.

"Pen-neth he'll be home soon."

"Thorin Oakenshield, I didn't expect you to come." Thranduil's voice sounded.

Thank Aulë. I was relieved to find Thranduil free from the curse.

"I was forced to by my nephews." Thorin growled.

"Okay, now that we're all here, let's begin. There has been word that the Orcs are attacking patrols in the forrest and it seems somethig angered them, considering we have a treaty thanks to your wife Elrond." Thranduil said.

"Yes, she talked to her father only a week ago, some orcs were, stunned, at the decision to spare us." I said, thinking back to my conversation with Crystal a week ago.

"And?" In Mahal's name Thorin.

"They don't approve." Thranduil concluded.

"Yes, she's had a few scrapes since then but Azog has intervined." I told.

"What happened!!" Thorin growled.

"She has it covered." I assured.

"I'll take your word for it then." Thranduil said.

"Anything for Erebor, Thorin?" Thranduil asked.

"No, nothing important." He said.

"Well then I think we're done here." Thranduil announced.

"So Elrond how are Crystal and Ferin faring, good I hope?" Thranduil asked.

"Ferin's a healthy child, smart for his age and will probably taller than most dwarves being part Elf and all. Crystal hasn't been herself, hardly ever sleeps at times, she wont eat either, only does when Ferin's around." I said lowering my voice.
