"Elizabeth, do you have your stuff together?" a feminine voice yelled from her currently old house. A groan was heard from upstairs and a collection of footsteps.
"Barely, Mom," replied the brown skinned girl who was laying on her bed with earphones in; her music playing at a deafening sound. The older woman walked to her room with a stern look.
"Elizabeth Anne-Marie, if you don't get your stuff to the truck, there will be a problem," said her mother. She was quite beautiful for her age. Long black hair and a smile that brightens the room, light laughing lines forming on her face. Of course Elizabeth took after her mother.
Elizabeth took out her earphones and took her boxes to the truck setting them down inside as her brother started the truck.
"Yo Liz nice look. By the time we get there Mom might kill you if you keep this up," an annoying voice called out.
Liz rolled her eyes. "Thanks for the advice, Mickey," she said sarcastically.
Mickey got out the truck and picked up his sister. The height difference was significant between them so picking her up wasn't hard. "Nothing more for my little sis. It's gonna be so easy how much I'm gonna annoy you," he said spinning her around.
"You jerk. Let me down! Mom!" she yelled for her mother who was currently checking the house for anything that needs to go with them.
The woman walked outside to see her children playing. "Oh dear god. Mickey, let Elizabeth down. She clearly doesn't want to get picked up. Now all of you get in the car, it's time to go. We have a long drive."
The teens looked at their mother before pushing each other into the truck.
Elizabeth let out a sigh. "This going to be a long ride."
