chapt. five

A/N: this part might be sad. :(

Elsa's parents had gone on a mission, or for Anna since she still didn't know, a vacation. So Elsa and Anna stayed over at Jack's. There, Anna played with Emma. Jack's parents would be at the agency and Tooth, Jack's cousin, took care of them.

One day, after many days of Elsa putting up with Jack, Jack's mom came home earlier.

"Elsa, sweetie..."

"Yes?"

"Come, I need to talk to you."

Elsa quickly walks over, not knowing what to expect. Jack's mom looked wild and tired, as well as beaten up.

"Did you get news from my parents?" Elsa asked hopefully, waiting for her parents to come and rescue her.

"Yes, but not good news..."

"What happened, Ms. Frost?"

"O-o-oh! Elsa, sweetie, you're parents are dead!" And with that she enveloped Elsa into a bone-crushing hug while crying hysterically.

However, Elsa at first was shocked, and it took a bit for tears to come streaming down. Both heartbroken girls must've been loud because Anna and Jack came through.

"What's wrong?" Anna said, worry filling her usually cheerful eyes. Elsa's chest swelled in pain as she prepared herself to tell her sister. Should she say the truth? Or a lie? She looked over at Ms, Frost who quietly nodded while crying and shaking. Elsa tried stringing some words together to say what happened but her voice failed her and a strangled noise came out. Next thing she knew, someone was hugging her. Anna? Elsa hugged back, snuggling her head in between the person's shoulder and neck.

"Elsa?" Anna said. So Jack was holding her. Elsa's eyes widened but she stayed and reached her hand for Anna to join the hug. They all gently sat on the ground and hugged each other as they cried. The four of them wept, wept until there were no more tears and there was a big hole in their hearts.

A/N: short chapter, I know 😁. In this chapter Jack is nine and Elsa eight about to turn nine. Anna and Emma are six. Sorry if this chapter was bad, I was rushing and it's really sloppy
