No one quite understood how it started. When word got out about the impending "zombie apocalypse" our town was quick to react. Sealed windows, safe rooms, and fenced in communities is what my life turned into. At first the public freaked out, I mean that's totally understandable, but honestly the stories and the movies made it out to be much worse than it was. It sucked because, well, who wants to be a flesh eating freak for the rest of their lives? But at the same time, I made it look good. People say the virus started out being spread via mosquito, like the Zika virus or Ebola, I always hated those annoying things. It started out manageable. People didn't really notice its affects for a while and all was good as the government seemed to have a hold of everything. And just like a game of Plague Inc., it started to mutate. The virus was soon unmanageable and the public started taking things into their own hands. Of course, like I so stated earlier, things were much different than that Walking Dead show. We are a lot more civil, have more flesh covering our faces, and less blood on our hands. Like me for example, I'm a vegetarian.
