Loved Completely

Our first encounter, her eyes ripple with sparkles of green and blue hues.
Her countenance was constructed and formed by anomalies that radiated toward my heart. Fluttering as if I've known her for a thousand years.
We were two of a kind, but one in the same. She held the last piece of the shattered remains I called my heart. It fit in the small void that was cracked, torn, bent and worn. I never wanted to untie my fingers from hers..
Time warped us, and as life gave it's final bow it blind folded me, pulled me behind the curtain and drugged me with sorrow and weakness.
For many years I perpetuated the film of our memories echoing behind my eyelids. I tried to dream but how could I when all my inclinations where already put to bed? We shared the same dream but now we were strangers sharing the same memories.
I met a new suitor to take her place, her name was Loneliness and she kept me comfortable. She didn't speak much but she was audible. Her voice sounded like a door blowing in the wind.
I heard my name being called out, I could see the light seeping through the blindfold around my eyes.
The tears fell and I pulled the cloth from my eyes and I could see...
I wanted her back. My life back.
I pulled the reel of my memories and strung them out as a path for me to follow. I stopped at a track of footprints in the sand. The distance framed her figure in the sun, as her golden hair illuminated and danced in the wind. She turned. Her nose wrinkled as she smiled. She was waiting for me. Everything went black. Realizing I had closed my eyes, I opened them, the blurry figure focused. She and I locked eyes as she was emitting her stories. I was back home. I would lace my fingers in hers to never let go this time. She was loved....completely.
