I saw her again.

Everyday, I see her.

Laughing, smiling... It always took my breath away.

She is truly an angel.

This girl was perfect. Some may think she was weird, but to me, I find her simply amazing.

Though I would never have the chance to be with her like that, because we don't talk that much, she barely notices me.

I somehow know her existence because of my best friend. Also known as her crush. Her everything, her King, her world, her future... I know I could never compete with that.

My best friend, he was perfect too. Athletic, popular. He was the dream guy every girl wanted, including her.

And I?

I am only the sidekick in his story. The friend who can never compare to such greatness.

After all, I am only known as 'Friend B'. I'm the back up, the second choice. If you'd get bored or had a fight with your first choice, I'd represent as your second choice.

Perhaps you think that's pathetic to complain about, like, "Hey at least you're actually a choice!" Or "Well it's better than last!"

When actually, being second all the time... You get frustrated, because you were so close to being first, so close to winning, but somehow, you messed it up and ended up failing to win. You ended up in second.

Soon, you eventually get used to it, so used to it, you sometimes don't bother to try as hard. Because you'll know, someone is better, someone will beat you and you will end up in second place, you will end up being their second choice.

That's all I am, that's all I ever will be, especially with a best friend like mine.

Nonetheless, welcome to my story.

For once I'll actually be first, well first person speaking anyway.

This is the story of a guy meeting a girl, who suddenly changed his dull life and brought colour to his world, and how he falls for the girl who's in love with his best friend.
