JACK'S POV:
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock piercing through my ears, I shifted around the bed, a quiet groan emits from my lips. I lifted my head up from the pillows, pushing my fringe back. My eyes scanned over to the alarm clock. 9.10 am. "Fuck." I mumbled quietly to myself, my back jolting up as my eyes darted around the room, trying to search for my work shirt.
I was frantically running across my bedroom floor, probably waking my mom and dad up, but I didn't care. I'm not being late. I speed-walked to my bathroom, grabbing my tooth brush and toothpaste before viciously brushing my teeth. I ran back into the room, pulling on a pair of grey skinny jeans and my work shirt. I didn't care about my appearance, I didn't want to get shouted at my boss. They already hate me there already.
I sprinted down the stairs, quickly moving to the front door, almost forgetting my shoes, so I shove my nike's on, before running down the drive and into my car. I buckled my seatbelt and began the drive. The coffee shop wasn't that far from my house, it was only round the corner, but I wasn't going to walk.
I run to the front door, shutting it quickly behind me, before panting heavily, I wasn't the best at being quick. As soon as my breathing slowed down, I made my way behind the till. I greeted my friend Rian, giving him a small wave before starting my shift.
Authors note:
Sorry this is short, I was going to write longer but I thought this would do, only for the first chapter. I would love your feedback and any requests? Please feel free to message me any time. I would love to hear your stuff. -Abbie x
