Life Is An Endless Battle

Stand Still

Another day comes and goes,

As I stand and watch all the people,

Moving along with their lives,

Leaving me behind on my own.

I want so much to keep moving,

But I don't know which way to go,

I've lost my way in the darkness,

My vision and mind clouded.

The path I must follow is unkown,

But I only have one chance to get it right,

I guess i'll just have to choose,

What if I make the wrong decision?

I could change everything,

Maybe left will be what I long for,

A life where I can be happy and carefree,

But what if it's not?

There is no way to know what is best,

Maybe going right will mislead me,

Maybe the darkness gets deeper,

But how will I ever know?

I don't trust myself enough,

I wont make the right choice,

Which way should I go?

Or should I just stand still?
