~November 6th 2012~
It's early in the morning, and Jason Howlett is currently walking to school. He gets a text message from one of his best friends, Keegan Stark, saying that someone was picking on their friend Zoe Summers. He sighed, and rushed to their school, Midtown Science Highschool. He arrived at the front of the rather large school, to see a group of teens surrounding something. As he approaches, he see's that they're yelling about something. Jason is approached by Keegan, who has a bruise on his right cheek.
"I-I tried to help! But the crowd is too large! This is getting out of hand!" Keegan yelled, trying to speak past the yelling.
"What happened to your cheek?" Jason asked him before I tried to break up the crowd.
"It's not important, just stop what they're doing before something happens." He answered.
Jason nodded, and forced himself through the crowd. He see's Zoe backing a way from a group of kids, who are yelling at her.
"No one wants you here, mutant!" One of them was yelling.
"Why don't you go cause terrorist attacks somewhere else!" Another yelled.
Zoe seemed like she was about to cry, but also seemed furious.
"I'm not a mutant! Just because I have parents who were X-Men doesn't mean I'm one of them!" Zoe yelled back.
The group of kids picked up some rocks from the ground and started throwing them at her. Jason stepped in at that moment.
"Hey! Back off!" Jason yelled.
"Why are you defending her? Her kind are terrorists!" Another kid asked.
"If you knew anything, you would know that most mutants protect us! Have you heard of the X-Men? You know how many times they protected us from mutant terrorists? More then enough to gain our trust." Jason told them.
Keegan stepped in. "Yeah!" He said.
The group of kids walked off and so did the surrounding group. Now that they're gone, let's give a little description of Jason, Keegan and Zoe. Jason is the son of James or "Logan" Howlett, also known as Wolverine. He has somewhat long spiky light chestnut hair, and wears a black jacket with a black shirt under it and brown jeans. Keegan Stark is the son of Tony Stark, and has a younger sister called Toni. He has short dirty blonde hair, that's usually combed. He wears a air force blue jacket, with a white t-shirt under it and black jeans. Zoe Summers is the daughter of Scott Summers and the now deceased Jean Grey Summers. She has long dark brown hair. She wears a dark green sweater most of the time, with a variation of pants, except for purple, red, pink and patterned pants. They're all in 10th grade, and 15 years old.
"You okay?" Keegan asked Zoe.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." Zoe answered.
"No problem." Jason told her.
The bell rang, and everyone went to class. They gathered their things, and sat down. The teacher hasn't entered the classroom yet, so everyone was talking or studying for whatever they needed to study for. Some kids were whispering about Zoe, and one decided to crunch up a piece of paper, and threw it at Zoe. Jason was asking Keegan about his "Iron Boy" suit.
"I'm nearly finished actually. I just need to add some colour, and then its done." He told Jason.
"What colours are you picking?" Jason asked him.
"I was thinking a black and grey colour scheme. It's currently colouring itslef right now." He answered.
"That's pretty cool." Jason said.
When Jason and Keegan finished talking, they realized the room was shaking. People were thinking that it was an earthquake, but they soon realized that Zoe was causing this.
"Leave me alone!" She yelled mentally as she pushed everyone against the walls with telekinesis.
The students ran out of the classroom, but Jason and Keegan stayed. The desks and chairs were starting to be lifted from the ground, as Zoe was now floating in the air. A neon purple aura was surrounding her at this time.
"Jason what the hell is going on?!" Keegan yelled.
"Isn't it obvious? Her X-Gene just woke up!" Jason said.
"And that means?" Keegan asked.
"It means she's a mutant!" Jason told him.
"And you know that ho- Oh wait..." Keegan realized what Jason is.
Jason nodded, and told Keegan to go outside. Keegan listened, and ran out. Jason turned back to Zoe, who's power is emitting very strongly.
"What's happening to me?!"Zoe yelled.
"Your mutant abilities have opened up!" Jason told her.
"No! That can't be!" She yelled as a wave of energy pushes Jason and the other objects in the room back.
Two claws popped out of both of Jason's hands, and he dug them into a wall to keep him from getting pushed back to hard. He slowly made his way back to Zoe.
"You gotta calm down! You have to concentrate!" Jason yelled.
"How?!" She yelled back.
Jason paused for a moment. "Stop panicking for starter, and try to stop thinking about your powers!"
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She slowly landed back onto the ground. Jason ran up to her and asked if she was alright. She said, she's feeling a bit weird and they both laughed nervously.
"So... About those..." She said as she pointed to the claws in Jason's hands.
"Uh... I can explain."Jason said.
"No need to." She said happily.
They walked outside, to see that the school has been surrounded by SWAT and police. They all stared at each other until one officer spoke.
"Put your hands behind your head!"
Zoe's eyes flickered a neon purple. She turned to Jason, then turned back facing the police.
"No." She said before blasting the police away with a large blast.
