Petals Falling Down

There are four seasons

Spring, summer, autumn, and winter

In the spring everything is new

New life, new beginnings, new starts

In the summer everything is growing

Roses, daisies, and fawns

In autumn everything is old

The flowers are growing weary

In the winter death takes over

Everything is dead or dying, everything is dark

Life is just like the seasons

Birth, growing, old, dead

Life is as simple as that

There's nothing else behind it

There is no magic

Magic doesn't exist

The closest thing to magic is love

However; love is a very rare, yet misused thing

People abuse the words that mean the most

The three simple words: “I love you”

Why is it misused?

And abused?

Love is like a flower

A rose to be exact

Roses are beautiful things

Difficult to care for and keep alive

Love is just the same

People use it for many reasons

They don't realize that those three words hurt

Like thorns on a rose

It takes two people to keep it alive

Much like it takes a special person to keep a rose alive

Most people say “you have my heart”

They should say “you have my rose”

Many people would be confused

But not the one for you

However now that you've read this

They may have to

This is the end
