Samantha's point of view
I rolled my eyes at the teacher in front of me. What would he know about being blind? I clicked my tongue and walked out of the classroom.
"Hey! You're that blind kid right? Samantha was it?" The only reason I turned around to face the person was because they talked to loud for my liking. "Yeah. I'm Samantha. What about it? Are you here to taunt me to?"
I heard him chuckle, after he says, "I'm sorry. I really can't hear you talk. I'm deaf. Do you know sign language?" Though I was blind, I learned how to speak sign language.
I nodded his way and signed, Yes. He sounded like he was smiling when he talked to me. "Great. I want to show you something cool. Something that you don't have to see to see." He said to me, grabbing my hand.
I pulled my hand away from him and said, well, signed his way, How do I know this isn't a hoax or sex trafficking? He sighed and said, "Listen, there is really no way I can prove that this isn't either in till you come." I started at him with-I'm guessing-dead eyes.
Fine. Just fine, I signed to him. He grabbed my hand and we ran.
This is going to be a short story. Chapters are going to be-most likely-about this long. Longer? Shorter? Tell me in the comments.
