Mia and me were the BESTEST of friends. We always told secrets to each other, even the ones that were NEVER to be spoken ANYONE about. And we always walked home together. We would talk the whole 10 minutes from school. But I only have 3rd period with her.Ugh. Oh! I should probably introduce myself.
Hi, I'm Laura, Mia's best friend. We're in 8th grade. The kings of Lafayette Middle School. And our 3rd period is ELA in Mrs.Smith's class. Things are pretty normal around here, besides the fact that our school has the WORST behavior EVER!
Anyway, I'm sitting at lunch in Mr.Mark's 5th period, (he's my science teacher) when Mia passed by & says "I'm gonna be walking home a little later today, okay?". "Okay" I replied & she went to Mr. Monster's class (really Mr.Williams, the math teacher).
I went back to talking to my friends, Jewel, Ash, & Addy. "Well, that was weird." I mumbled. "What?" Addy asked me. "Mia just told me she would be walking home a little later today." "And that's weird becaaaaauuussse...?" Jewel jumped in, popping a fry in her mouth. "Well, we always walk home together together. Talk to each other. Now I have no one..." I answered. "You know it's probably only for 1 day, right? Don't be so dramatic!" Ash said. "Yeah, I guess your all right." I said.
