Chapter 16:My Step Brother and his mage lover, and a son who can't make his father proud
Tyler's PoV
After that horrible encounter with Vicktor, I was put into a coma, my physical self was but my soul wasn't, I was sent to a place called Nexus. A land where all magic peacefully rests I was trained by a man named Centaurus, he was a centaur and a warrior along side with a magician named Leo, the mage of hell's fire
Both of them taught me things I should know about my magic eventhough I dont really know what I am I tried to asked them but they kept saying "you're special" and im very irritated on the answer. I was there for I dont know how long, all I know that in this place you will see things you dont and will never want to see
I was walking around around the grassy meadows with the moon brightly glistening above the black starry night sky, It wasnt cold nor hot maybe it had something to do with the elements or what, but it was a perfect night for a stroll. I noticed a lake on the far end of the meadow and I wanted to check it out.
I strolled slowly towards the lake and noticed mist began to cover the place where I was standing,
I saw a woman dressed in white linnen cloth with its tail gently following the breeze I was on alert
but then noticed she looked so lost "Excuse me, miss are you okay?" I asked
I heard the water rippled and with a quick gust of wind she was gone but the mist was getting thicker
"Have you felt betrayed?" I heard a sad voice said but I couldnt see anyone through the thick cloud
"Uh, yeah" I answered
"Then why do you trust again?" the voice answered back
"Because I cant just live not trusting anyone but I also learned how to defend myself from peoplelike that" I answered
"You shouldn't let them use you like this" the voice answered
"Huh?" I asked
"your power is far more greater use if you use it for revenge" the voice said
"Uhmmm, I'm not a big fan of revenge" I replied
"really? Not even to the one who caused you great pain?" she asked icly
"yeah" I answered but I know that was a lie
"I can help you, I can get revenge for you, I can make them suffer" she said
"Them?"
"yes, to the one who violated you and for the one whose been playing you to get what he wants" sheanswered and I felt the air began to lowered
"look lady I dont know who you are but I have to go" I tried to walk back but the mist was to thick Icant see anything
"I can help you" she said and felt like she was beside me
"no....no thank you" I stuttered
"just give me a litttle power, give me back my life and give me the power to live again" she said and felt a grip on my neck
"BLAZE FIRE" a voice roared from somewhere
"ahhhh" the lady screeched and vanished along with the mist around me
I winced as the sudden gust of wind blew
"Hey bro, you okay?" I heared a very familiar voice that I almost recognize
"J...Jace?" I asked shocked
"hey bro" he said as he reaches out his hand
"wha...wha..what are you doing here?" I asked
"well, thats hard to discuss without master Leo" he said brushing his hand on the back of his neck
"okay?" I said and grabbed his hand to help me up
We walked back to the cabin Master Centaurous and Leo were
"I'm back" I said as we entered
"Tyler, what the hell?!" what happened to you lad?" Centaurous yelled as he stood up
"Sorry, I kinda bumped into this weird ass lady" I said
""lady?" Leo said as Jace snaked his arms around the wizard's waist
I raised an eyebrow at their actions
Jace just shrug and said " Ty met the astral's local crazy lady" he said and buried his face on the
wiard's hair
"ohh he met Sylvia" the wizard said looking at me
"uh who?" I asked
"she's a vengeful nymph that was cursed by the gods of olympus" Centauous said as he sat down
"okay, and can someone explain to me what is my stepbrother doing here?" I asked
"he lives here, well on most nights but mostly at my dung...errr tower" Leo said grinning
"Leo, let us not traumatize the young one" Centaurous said biting his lip
"c'mon" I whined
"okay, Tyler ill answer your question but promise me that you will keep it a secet" Leo said
"yeah" I answered
"Tyler, your father is looking for his son that has the power of the dragon inside him. We managed
to hide the fact that it was little Jace here" Leo said
"Little?" Jace laughed smirking
"Well it is" Leo said
"That's not what you were yelling last--" Jace said but I yelled
"Continue that and I'll throw things at you" I warned
"fine, anyway like I said we kept it a secret to your dad" Leo said
"Why?" I asked
"well, my mom for starters, and dad's phycho council" Jace said
I furrowed my eye brows, so dad wanted to see me because he thought I'm what he's lookin for
"so, what if dad learned that, that you are daddy err I mean dad's star son?" I asked bitterly
"Tyler," Centaurous said
"hey how is he able to be here and I need to be in a coma" I asked
"You can leave anytime, last time I check you were asleep, just focus on your bedroom and you'll be awake" Jace said proudly
"Jace!" Leo said "Thanks" I muttered trying not to shed a tear
"I wish Vince will be there once I wake up" I muttered and did what Jace told me to do
