(AN) This is another story from school, I'm pretty much just gonna put all the creative writing pieces I've written and liked here on Wattpad.
Hope you like it. Enjoy! :)
Richie Laxen looked around, confused by the silence. 'Will isn't here? But he never misses school.' he thought. he went back to drawing in his book, still frowning at his friend's disappearance. It was true though, in all the years Richie knew Will, he had never missed a day of school despite how sick he got. The teacher finished roll call and Richie turned to the kid on his phone beside him.
"Yo, Andy. Ya got any idea where Will is?" He whispered.
Andy looked up from what he was doing on his phone and gave Richie a weird look.
"Huh? Say that again? I don't think I heard you right."
"I asked ya if you know where Will is at. He's not here."
"He's not?" Andy exclaimed, immediately sitting up and looking to Will's empty seat.
"Well ain't that a first. Yo Gale! Where's Will?"
Andy was never one to care if he disrupted class.
"Dunno, he was here this morning though!" Shouted back a scruffy kid that usually sat beside Will.
"Mr Murphy, Mr Roberts, I am trying to teach a class. Discuss this matter in your own time!" The teacher scolded.
"Sorry miss" came the response.
Richie leant back in his chair, the teachers voice fading to the back of his mind. It didn't make sense to him, Will never skipped school. To make it more odd, Gale said he saw him that morning. 'This isn't adding up' he thought.
"Mr. Laxen. Mr. Laxen! Are you with us today?" Came a voice, interrupting his thoughts.
"Sorry Miss, could you repeat what you said?"
'I'll worry about it at break' he concluded, finally deciding to pay attention to the lesson.

"Andy! Richie! Wait up guys!"
They turned to see Gale running up to them. He stopped in front of the two, catching his breath.
"Geez guys, what did ya ditch me for?" Gale questioned, glaring at them.
"Woops, sorry mate. Didn't mean to leave ya behind." Richie replied, clapping his friend on the back.
"Yeah man, we thought you had gone ahead of us or something." Andy reassured, still doing stuff on his phone. Andy was always on his phone and somehow managed to never get it confiscated during classes.
"Anyway, ya said you saw Will this morning. Any idea where he coulda gone?" Richie said turning back to Gale as they continued towards the canteen.
"Nah, he said he was going to the bathroom and would meet me back in class. Didn't though." he explained while trying to sneak a glance at Andy's phone.
"That's not like him, he'd never ditch a class." Richie frowned, once again confused by Wills disappearance.
"I know, I thought it was pretty odd myself." Gale was practically leaning on Andy's shoulder, determined to see what Andy does on his phone throughout the many hours of the day.
"Dude, shove off. Ya said Will went to the toilets but never returned right? The obvious thing to do would be to go see if he's still in there."
Richie raised an eyebrow at Andy's suggestion. 'So he was actually paying attention for once' he mused.
"Well, come on then, or I'll leave ya." Andy said, turning and heading to the boys toilets. Without looking up from the screen, he navigated through the swarm of bodies around him with Richie and Gale franticly trying to catch up to him.
They finally made it out and reached the toilets where Andy was standing outside the door.
"Took ya long enough." he commented when they reached him, causing Richie to roll his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, we're here now. Come on." he led the way inside the stinking room, where to the left, was a row of sinks and a huge glass mirror, and the right, the urinal and three toilet stalls. The far end one was locked, signifying that it was in use.
'That can't be right, that toilets been unusable since some kid clogged it two years back. It was never fixed.' Richie frowned and walked up to the door, rapping his knuckles against it before stepping back.
"Oi, anyone in there?" Gale called out.
"Yes! Yes there is! Lemme outta here!" came a small voice from inside stall.
"Stand back boys, and lemme show you how its done." Andy actually put his phone away before rushing at the door and kicking it open.
There, sitting on the toilet seat, was a very sheepish looking boy wearing enormous glasses.
It was Will.
"Well, uhh, you took ya time." he grinned, scratching the back of his head.
"What the heck were you doing in there?" Richie exclaimed.
"I, uhh, meant to pull a prank on you guys, but, uhhh, I kinda locked myself in here and couldn't get out..." he faded off, going bright red and taking interest in his shoes.
The other trio just looked at him in silence, processing what they just heard before doubling over in laughter, tears streaming down their faces.
Once he calmed down, Richie wiped away his tears and swung his arm around Wills shoulders.
"You complete and utter idiot. Come on, were gonna miss lunch, let's go eat."
