Alec blocked his face with his hands as I continued to hit him.

"No, Nononono not that kind of thing," he explained. "You were having a nightmare so I came in to check on you, and you asked me to sleep beside you, so that's what I did."

"Oh." I mumbled, my face turned from a bright red to a light pink. I set the pillow down and scratch the back of my neck.

"Sorry." I apologized, chuckling a little. Alec laughed in return. "It's fine, that came out the total the wrong way." We both laughed again, awkwardly this time.

We sat there in silence, both thinking of what to say when Alec asked.

"Did it work?"

"Did what work?" I asked confused.

"You seemed quiet, did you have the nightmare when I was in there with you?"

I smiled in realization. "I actually didn't have the nightmare, thank you."

The memories of last night came back slowly, and I realized something else. I had never stopped having that nightmare before, except for that night.

"Umm..." I started but Alec already knew what I was going to ask.

"I can stay with you again if you want."

I nodded, silently getting up and walking out of the room.

"See you in there in a little bit."

So from now on, Alec Daniels was going to sleep with me.

I got changed into shorts and a tank top before getting into bed, turning off the light and snuggling in. A few moments later a silhouette walked into my room and got into bed, this time going under the covers.

I scooted closer to him, putting my head and close to his side and without saying a word, I quickly drifted off to sleep.

The next few days of class were boring, same thing everyday, Alec and I drove to school, lecture, study hall, marketing class, lunch, home.

Luckily Maddie, Camille and I all had early classes (although Camille wasn't very fond of it) so we could hang out during the evenings.

"Ok so what did you do again?" I asked sipping on my caramel latte.

We were all at a local coffee shop during lunch. Everyone's classes were done except Ryan's.

"We had to program some things that's all, it's some new technology for the police station near here." Camille answered licking some chocolate from her finger .

"That's a big deal Camille!" Maddie exclaimed. "Programming is hard work and it made a big difference for the police men."

"Yeah who knew flirty Camille would be a forensic science expect." I added winking.

"Sounds hot," I turned to see Andrew standing behind me smirking at Camille. "You know I don't mean to brag but ah, I'm in the Criminal Justice major too."
