4th of July {KevEdd One Shot}

4th of July

Eddward sat on the balcony of his, and his boyfriends, two story home. Waiting for the fireworks to start, they had a great view of the town center where a huge firework show is displayed every year. Eddward loved the fireworks, he had sense he was just a child.

Kevin walked out to stand next to him. He placed his hand on Edd's hip. His boyfriends sudden touch surprised Edd, but he smiled and placed his hand on top of Kevin's, kissing his cheek as he did.

"I love you, Kevin," Edd smiled, the gap between his front teeth showing.

"I love you too, dork," Kevin said, and kissed the others forehead.

Edd laid his head on Kevin's shoulder, as the fireworks began. The fireworks were beautiful, but as always, Kevin got distracted by his dorks cuteness. He loved how Edd's eyes would light up with each firework, and how every time one went off Edd's smile grew brighter. He put his hands in his pocket and felt for the small box he put in there, moments before.

As the fireworks ended with a huge display of multiple gorgeous fireworks. Kevin turned to Edd and smile, "hey babe?" he asked taking Edd's hands in his.

"Yes?" Edd smiled as he turned face Kevin, though he was confused on his boyfriend's intentions.

"We've been dating for 3 years, and I love you, so much. I want to spend the rest of my life with you Edd, so I have a question to ask you," Kevin took a deep breath and knelt down on one knee, taking the small box out of his pocket. He opened the it, and inside it held a Moonstone engagement ring with a golden band, Eddward's expression changed to one of surprise as Kevin popped the question and asked, "Edd, will you marry me?"

Tears weld up in Edd's eyes as he smiled and answered, "y-yes, yes Kevin, I will marry you!" Kevin smiled as he put the ring on Edd's finger. He stood and Edd jumped up to kiss his newly engaged finance, as one last firework shot into the air behind them. Just as Kevin had planned, his friend Nat was in charge of the fireworks this year. When he told Nat his plans, he asked if Nat could watch from below and if Edd said yes, like he did, the firework would go off, if not, nothing. The two pulled away as the firework faded, Kevin picked Eddward up and spun him around.
