Elizabeth woke from her sleep, she didn't dream. Normal for her. "ELIZABETH LYNN!" A voice pierced the silence. Her brother perhaps? Maybe her mother, but she was drunk. Maybe hungover? Elizabeth Wondered. "ELIZABETH COME HERE!" The voice shouted once again. She got up, and put her normal clothes on (a T-shirt and pants) and walked downstairs from her room. She was the youngest, it went, Jaxson, Max, Elizabeth. Max was yelling at her this morning. "Hmph" Elizabeth sighed, as she walked towards her brother, Max. "Lazy. You know mom would kill you If you were still sleeping!" Max glared at her, "Get ready, for school. Now" and Elizabeth nodded and started getting her school stuff in order, and placed them in her bag. And ate, a small bowl of cereal. Elizabeth was dragon marked, meaning she was a dragons flame. She hasn't met her dragon yet. "Elizabeth, Max" Jaxson said, as he made himself a bowl of cereal. "Elizabeth" Jaxson repeated, Elizabeth looked up at him, "Yes?" She took another bite of cereal. "Happy birthday" Jaxson slide a small box towards Elizabeth. "Thanks" she said, grabbing the box and Opening it. Inside was a small necklace with her name engraved on it. "Its for when you meet....him" Max said from behind Elizabeth. "Why do I have it though?" Puzzled, she looked at max. "When you meet him, give it to him. He'll wear it. That means when he shifts you'll know its him" Max stated. "Oh" Elizabeth finished her cereal, And placed the necklace in her pocket.
Elizabeth walked to school. And she thought what her dragon may look like. Tall? Hmph.... Cute? Happy? I wonder what scales he'll have. Purple? Black? Blue? "Elizabeth! Hello?!" A voice snapped Elizabeth out of her thoughts. "Yes?" Elizabeth asked, looking up at her best friend. "What in the hell where you thinking about?!" Star asked her. "Hm? Oh, nothing" She smiled warmly. "Your thinking about your dragon!" Star blurted. "Star! Hush!" Elizabeth blushed a deep crimson red. Star smiled, "I bet he's super cute! And his dragon! Oh my god! He could be a fire dragon! Or a hybrid!" Elizabeth face turned a deeper red. "Star" a male voice said. Star turned to look "Jase!" Star yelped and leaped into Jase's arms, Star is Jase's flame.
"Eww! Love!" Elizabeth giggled, "get a room!" She earned a glare from star. "Hey" Elizabeth jumped at the sound of the male voice behind her. "Hey Matthew!" Elizabeth turned and smiled warmly. Matthew hugged her, and suddenly Elizabeth and Matthew were surrounded by deep blue flames that danced on their skin. Elizabeth giggled happily, the flames tickled her. "Elizabeth" Matthew whispered. Her name, coming from him made her heart jump. Elizabeth had found her dragon.

Matthew smiled. "My flame" he purred, this made Elizabeth's heart jump. "My dragon" Elizabeth said, smiling up at Matthew. Elizabeth reached into her pocket, and handed Matthew the necklace. "What's this?" He asked. "A necklace with my name engraved" Elizabeth replied, smiling. "Here, my flame" he handed her a necklace with his name engraved on it. "Thank you!" Elizabeth smiled. "Happy Birthday" he laughed and picked her up carrying her into the building. "Matthew! Put me down!" Elizabeth giggled. "No! Your mine! I'm keeping you safe!" Matthew laughed, and placed Elizabeth down. "Thanks for the lift...?" Elizabeth giggled. "Anytime" Matthew winked at her. He placed the necklace around Elizabeth's neck and clipped it. Matthew then, put the necklace she had given him, around his neck and clipped it. "This is the best birthday gift ever!" Elizabeth smiled, "Thank you Matthew!" Matthew smiled, "Your welcome, Elizabeth" Elizabeth's heart jumped.
"Matthew! I need to get to my class!" Elizabeth was trapped in a super tight hug, that Matthew had trapped her in. The blue flames were back, Making Elizabeth giggle. "Matthew!" Elizabeth whined, "I need to get to my class!" Without warning, Matthew crashed his lips into Elizabeth's, she kissed back and Matthew deepened the kiss. It was full of passion, the flames danced around them, they turned from a deep blue, to sea green. The kiss got more and more passionate, "Matt" Elizabeth said between their lips parting, "class" Matthew broke away from the kiss. "Fine. What class do you have?" Matthew Asked. "I have math" Elizabeth said. Matthews face lit up, "So do I!"
Elizabeth put her things in her locker, when Star came up from behind her. "Well?" Star asked, "What's he like?" Elizabeth smiled, "He's amazing! He's taller then I am, Not by much. But he seems caring enough" Elizabeth smiled. "I wonder what his dragon looks like!" Star giggled. "I'm a hybrid, I'm black with small white spots all the way down my back. I breathe a mixture of stardust and ice" Matthew said, scaring both of the girls. "Matthew Night, is your dragon?!" Star was shocked, Matthew laughed. "What?" He asked. "N..nothing" Star smiled and walked to class.
Matthew sat next to Elizabeth in their class. Matthew kept throwing paper balls at Elizabeth. "Matttyyyy!" Elizabeth whined, barely above a whisper, "Stooppp!" She giggled. And she reached for Matthews hand and soon the bell rang for next period to begin.
