Unforgettable

Prologue

Both Tobin Heath and Alex Morgan grew up in California. They both attended the University of California, Berkeley, but Alex went there on a full scholarship for soccer, while Tobin went there for academics. Since there was an odd number of girls on the Golden Bears women's soccer team, Alex was roomed with someone who did not play soccer. She was roomed with Tobin Heath, a shy, but intelligent girl.

The two became very close and eventually became best friends. At the end of the first semester, they both developed feelings for one another, but kept it to themselves. They spent winter break together since they lived in the same area. While they were walking along the boardwalk, Alex, a beautiful and confident girl, confessed to Tobin about her feelings for her. Tobin also told Alex how she felt about her. From there on out, Tobin and Alex became closer and eventually a couple.

However, their relationship was not perfect. Tobin was a shy girl and would tend to close herself from other people, even Alex. Alex noticed this and tried to help Tobin overcome her shyness, but every time she tried Tobin would grow frustrated and tell her to let her be. Alex would then ignore Tobin, which Tobin hated. She did not enjoy the silent treatment Alex would give her. She'd always question herself if she did something wrong or wonder why she was so shy. Alex and Tobin both agreed that they would help each other become the best they can be, even if it means overcoming difficult obstacles.

Throughout their four years of college, Tobin and Alex were like glue, nothing could separate them. But with Alex being a soccer star and attracting Jill Ellis, the head coach of the United States Women's National Team, Tobin knew that they were going to face a huge obstacle together.
