"Are you sure you can handle everything?" I asked my husband Michael. I was returning to work after having our 2nd child. She was 2 months old. I was worried about Michael having to take care of a newborn and a 3 year old at the same time.
"Yes, Shelby. I promise I got everything. I'll call you if I need anything." Michael said.
"Okay." I said still worried. "I love you."
"I love you too." He said. He leaned down to kiss me. I smiled and walked out the door.

Michael POV
Everything was under control in my eyes. Shelby had nothing to worry about. Our son, Y/S/N, was still sleeping and our daughter, Y/D/N, was asleep in my arms. She was all Shelby, but with my eyes. I sat down on the couch and watched my baby girl sleep. Next thing I know, she's opening her green eyes and she starts to cry. I rock her in my arms gently as I go to the kitchen to grab her bottle out of the fridge. I take her upstairs to her room and sit down in the rocking chair like what Shelby does and I give Y/D/N her bottle.
"It's ok, Baby. Daddy's got you." I whispered to her. Within a few minutes, Y/D/N fell back asleep. I removed her bottle from her mouth gently and set her down in her crib. I grabbed the baby monitor and went back downstairs to the kitchen.

"Daddy?" Y/S/N said as he came down the stairs. "Where's momma?"
"She went back to work, Buddy." I said. Y/S/N was all me only with Shelby's eyes.
He pouted."I miss her." He said as he came into the kitchen.
I laughed and ruffled his hair. "I miss her too. Are you hungry?" I asked him. He nodded.
"Do you want some Lucky Charms?" I asked him. He smiled and nodded. I laughed again. I got a small bowl for him and poured the cereal and milk in the bowl. He started eating and I sat down, making a bowl myself. I heard little wails come from the baby monitor, so I got up and went upstairs. I picked up the crying baby and rocked her. I noticed that her diaper was heavy, so I laid her on the changing table and changed her. After I was done, I decided to take her downstairs and lay her in the play pin. I went back into the kitchen to see Y/S/N making a mess. He had cereal and milk all over him.
"Buddy, what did you do?" I asked and started to clean him up.
"I was just trying to play, Daddy." He said.
I sighed. "Y/S/N, you're a big boy. You don't play with your food."
"I'm sorry, Daddy. I won't do it again." He said. I lifted him up. "Mommy wouldn't like you making messes now, would she?"
"No!" Y/S/N exclaimed. I took him to his room to change his clothes. After that was done, I took him back downstairs and set him down in the living room and turned on some cartoons for him while he played with his toys.
"Don't be too loud or rough around, Y/D/N. Understand?" I told him. He nodded.
I went back into the kitchen to finish up my own breakfast. Once I was done, I cleaned up the kitchen and took Y/S/N to brush his and my teeth. I helped him brush his teeth before my own and once I was done, I heard a loud cry come from downstairs. I ran down to Y/D/N and quickly picked her up and rocked her.
"Daddy, why does Y/D/N keep crying?" Y/S/N asked.
"I think she misses Mommy. She's not used to her not being here and just us here." I told him.
"Do all babies cry when their mommies aren't with them?" He asked.
I laughed gently. "Mostly. You didn't cry very much when Mommy was away. She said you cried more when I went away on tour."
Y/S/N climbed up on the couch with me.
"I missed you, Daddy. I don't want you to leave anymore." He said and wrapped his arms around me.
"Buddy, I promise I'm not going anywhere for a long time." I said.
"Really?" Y/S/N perked up.
"Mommy needs help with Y/D/N and you and I need to spend time with my family." I said.
"I love you, Daddy. And I love Y/D/N." He said and laid down on my lap. I draped a blanket over him.
"I love you both so much. I don't know what I'd do without you." I said. I gently placed a kiss on my sleeping daughter's head and then to my now sleeping son's head. I smiled and fell asleep with my children.

Your POV
I came home after a long day at work. It was quiet in the house. I made my way into the living room and saw Michael with Y/D/N in his arms and Y/S/N in his lap. They were all sleeping. I smiled at my family. Michael was a great father and husband and I wouldn't want it any other way.

This one's for Shelby and all the Michael girls out there! I hope you like it! ~ Santana
