Chapter 3

Sofie however didn't move her arms from me,

"Oh darling, you never told me you had a girlfriend" sofie's what I'm assuming is her mum said.

Well shit.

My eyes darted to sofies who just smiled unsurly at me, she let her arms fall to her sides, "mum what are you-" she started.

"Oh now c'mon don't be rude introduce me to this beautiful girlfriend of yours" her mum said happily walking towards us.

I smiled at her calling me beautiful but my smile immediately dropped as two hands cupped my face, "Welcome to the family, I don't know what your family is like towards the lesbian community but we are very accepting and you always have a place with us, now tell me the story then" she said removing her hands to squeeze mine.

This is just brilliant (note the sarcasm)

"What story?" I asked slightly confused, turning to sofie I saw her shake her head no, just then four people came bursting into the house.

What the hell is going on!!!! Looking around sofie was pouring our mochas, sofies mom was greeting her family and I just stood in place. I'm not sofies girlfriend...how in the hell can I say to her family
'Oh by the way me and your daughter aren't dating we just screwed twice.'

Walking over to me sofie handed me the coffee cup she didn't look happy instead she wore a look that implied she was fed up. Did I do something?

Grabbing her arm to spin her around to face me, a look of concern crossed my face, "what's wrong?" I asked.

Stepping closer sofie's blue eyes looked up at me,

"With the exception of you, I dislike everyone in this room," she said, I must of looked shocked because she rolled her eyes, "I'll explain later, let's go,"

Walking past the family they all introduced themselves, sofies mom's name was Cheryl, her dad Mark, and she had three sister's, Anna (5), lizzie(6) and Yasmine (7).
They all seemed like such a happy family I couldn't understand why sofie hated it.

Roughly pulling me by the arm, I shouted back "goodbye" to the youngest sister Anna , before sofie could pull me away.

"Sofie!" I shouted as she was literally dragging me to her car.

"Sorry," she murmured, unlocking the car and getting in. Wow she seems so upset, her family were so welcoming I didn't understand what's wrong.

Running a hand through my hair, which definitely needed another comb through...oh god and I didn't have make up on!! Damn. Shoving the worries out my head I got in the car.

"Whats wrong?" I asked for the second time today,
don't get to emotionally involved a voice in my head said.
Shut up I told it. Although it had some point nothing could deny the fact that I liked sofie....as a friend.

"Why do you care?" She snapped, driving the car through the rich part of town, it wasn't as rich as my bit but still a nice area. Her grip on the wheel was tight as her knuckles began to grow white.

"Because" I stated as if that was an answer, pulling down the mirror on the hood of the car I fixed my hair.

"Because what?" She said more in a demanding tone. I felt her eyes on me as I applied foundation on.

Finishing my make-up, sofie was still giving me a hard glare, "well" she said getting impatient, she slowed as we came to a traffic light and sighed annoyed.

"Well what?" I asked playing dumb, shutting the mirror bit back up, I turned to watch sofie who had her eyes trained on the road. Her fingers tapping against the steering wheel, but as soon as she heard what I said her head snapped towards me.

"Why do you fucking care!" She shouted angrily. I silently thanked that the traffic lights were still on red or else we might end up crashing. Her harsh tone took me by surprise as I blurted the first thing I could thing off.

"Because I'm your girlfriend!" I shouted, a shocked expression crossed my face as I realized what I just said.

Fuck.

The lights turned green and sofie pushed her foot so the car rolled forward slowly but she wasn't looking at the road.

"Sofie watch the road" I said panicking slightly as I held o to the car door.

Laughing slightly at me panicking she looked at the road and drove to a normal pace before turning to look at me, "well you could of told me we were dating" she chuckled, wow I like this playful side of her, she seemed so chill unlike before she was shyly flirting.

"We're not, you wish we were" I said raising my eyebrow playfully at her and adding a wink.

Sofie gave me a small smirk and raised her eyebrows at my cockiness, we both bursted into laughter as we pulled up at the school.

My heart felt full and content as me and sofie walked into school....late, which meant detention, great.
