All The Little Things {MIGHT BE DISCONTINUED}

Chapter 1 • Past

Rey was a new student at Luke's Jedi School At 6 years old Rey was small for her age with a small tan frame and big hazel eyes. Her hair was tied up in 2 little buns.

Luke had personally welcomed the young girl over to the circle he and the children have sat in.

"Class this is Rey. Say hi Rey!"

"Hi Rey!"

The energy of 20 little kids filled her heart with joy. At Luke's he taught both 1st graders as well as kindergartners, like her.

When he called for break the young Rey had noticed a little boy who had distanced himself away for the rest.

He looked older than her, the boy was probably in first grade. He had long wavy black hair followed by dark eyes. The boy was also extremely pale compared to Rey's tan complexion. Unlike her a sad look was on his face.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Go back to everyone else."

"No! You look sad!"

"I'm fine kid."

"My names not kid, it's Rey."

The boy smiled at the young girl in front of him.

"Well I'm Ben. Nice to meet you."

He extended out his head for her to shake, she took his hand.

"Ben? Can we be friends? You look like you need one."

He could've said no. Like he had to most of the kids in Luke's school. But the little girl seemed different.

Maybe he did need someone to stay by his side through life.

"Okay Rey, we could be friends."

She smiled and hugged him tight.

"Yay!"

Suddenly it didn't seem so bad here at Luke's anymore

Authors Note: okay so this was the first chapter! I'm sorry if it's confusing. This book is going to be alternating from past to present for most of the time. So when it's past it's Ben and Rey's childhood memories, and when it's present it's Ben and Rey seeing each other in college. Anyways I'll try to update tomorrow! Please comment!
