Michael ran his hand through his newly dyed blue hair. He smiled as he looked down at his beautiful girlfriend, Sarah. She sat in his lap, her head resting on his shoulder. Michael observed her curly brown locks cascaded around her shoulder, how when the sun hit her hair just right golden highlights shown through the sea of brown. He observed how her glasses framed her face just right, how they complimented her hazel eyes. He observed how Sarah's smile lit up her whole face, causing her to be more beautiful than humanly possible.
"I love you," Michael whispered into her ear.
Sarah looked up and smiled even more. "I love you too."
An even bigger smile rugged on Michael's face. Man did he love this girl. He shifted in his seat a little, his legs falling asleep from all of the sitting he had done.
Sarah noticed this movement and started to stand up, but Michael pulled her back down. "Babe, stay. I don't mind that my legs are falling asleep; I quite like having you sit here."
Sarah laughed at her boyfriend's dorkiness, but sat back down nevertheless.
Sarah and Michael cuddled for awhile, until Michael's stomach growled with hunger. It made him realize just how hungry he was, as he hadn't eaten since earlier that day.
Sarah looked at Michael and smirked. "Someone hungry?"
Michael laughed. "Only a little."
They both stood up, Michael somewhat unsteady due to his legs being numb with all of the sitting. Michael grabbed Sarah's small hand in his large one. Hand in hand, they walked down the street to find a place to eat.
During the walk, Michael thought about how lucky he was to have Sarah, a girl who understood him and would never judge him. Michael knew he wanted to marry her someday, even though they have only been dating for a year. He loved Sarah, and he never wanted to let her go.
Michael smiled down at their intertwined hands. He squeezed Sarah's hand, causing her to look at him and show off that beautiful smile of hers. When the two of them were together, it was like there was no one else in the world. Nothing could break them apart; nothing could ever take away the love they had for each other. They loved each other with all of their hearts. Nothing could ever change that.
In that moment, Michael leaned down and kissed Sarah passionately on the lips, who kissed back with equal the amount of passion.
"I love you," Michael whispered into her lips.
"And I love you."
