Jaquel eyes widen. Lisa hung the clothes back on the rack. “Jaquel, like I said before we started dating.. Handle your business first..” Lisa turned and walked off. Jaquel sighed watching the woman he loved disappear into the crowd of people walking around the mall. “Why not just come to my house and tell me Jasmine, Why start a scene here?  We don’t discuss things like this.” Jaquel took her hand gently leading her to sit on the bench in the mall. Jasmine looked at him shameful, “What could I say Jaquel? What could I tell you? I was afraid you would say it wasn’t yours, because I have not done a thing since I last saw you.”

Jaquel took a hand from his pocket and touched her stomach,”I’m not a child Jasmine, you should know you can open up to be about anything, I’m not some damn teenage boy.”  Jasmine stayed quiet and placed a hand on his. ,” It’s a baby girl by the way.” Jaquel smiled looking up into Jasmine’s eyes. “I thought you didn’t want kids Jasmine.” Jasmine smiled lightly. “Change of heart when I knew she was there.” Jaquel nodded, “How many months are you?” Jasmine smiled “almost 4months” Jaquel nodded taking is hand from her protruding stomach.

Jaquel looked around to find Lisa. Jasmine rolled her eyes a bit letting out a breathy sigh. Jaquel spotted her buying an icecream. “Jasmine, may I see you later? We have a lot to discuss” Jaquel looked at Jasmine. Jasmine nodded, “I know we do, and I’m sorry but, I got so angry when I saw her, I just.. I don’t know. We can talk later.” Jaquel felt Jasmine’s warm lips touch his cool ones. Jaquel’s eyes shut as his heart began to beat rapidly feeling her familiar plump lips touch his in a tender kiss.

For just a moment Jaquel started to return her kiss, but froze as his mind raced remembering Lisa. Jasmine only smiled pulling back to get up to walk back into the store. Jaquel looked behind him and sure enough Lisa stood watching him. Her beautiful brown eyes icy with hurt, anger and shock. her ice cream left untouched. Jaquel shook his head at his stupidity. Standing up he walked over to her. Lisa’s lips out fell into a frown as she threw her ice cream away.

“Jaquel..Do you love her still?” Lisa asked although she knew the answer. Jaquel didn’t hesitate nodding honestly he spoke seriously., “Yes, I always have and I always will.. but Lisa you are so special to me, and I love you as well.” Lisa nodded, her eyes held a distant look before she looked back into Jaquel’s disgruntled ones . “What do you plan to do?” Jaquel sighed putting together a plan in his thoughts. “Well it’s my daughter that she’s carrying, I know for fact.” Lisa looked at him, uncertain, unknowing of what this all meant now.,” Jaquel, Who do you want to start a life with?”  Lisa said it so quietly he had to strain to hear her. Jaquel didn’t know but he stayed silent as he looked down into Lisa’s eyes.

Jaquel then realized that every time him and Jasmine spoke or met, the bond between them was strong, Lisa must have seen it too. He would always love jasmine, she was someone he could connect with and talk to…but Lisa, Lisa was wonderful, sweet, and he adored her. He didn’t want to leave either woman behind to feel as if they were helpless.

Jaquel closed his eyes not wanting what he wanted to say next come out of his mouth, but he knew it would be the right thing for now. , “Lisa, can we focus on our child rather than us? I don’t want to hurt anybody, I just want to be a good father, we can work on our relationship later on.” Lisa face fell but she nodded understanding. “Okay.” Jaquel nodded too not knowing what to say. , “I saw a beautiful baby crib.” Lisa turned around quickly “Show me. She said” Jaquel followed behind her, back into the store.

Jaquel now carried the crib into his house with Lisa following behind. Lisa sat on his couch feeling tears fall down her cheek, tears that she’d held through out seeing Jasmine and Jaquel kiss, through the shopping and through out the ride home she could no longer hold them. Lisa closed her eyes so Jaquel wouldn’t see her crying, her heart aching. She’d fallen in love with him at the worst possible time. Lisa heard him speak. “Lisa, Do you want something to eat.” Lisa just shook her head knowing if she spoke he’d hear her tears. “Are you tired baby?” Lisa shook her head no. “Okay, I’m going to make you something anyway.” Lisa nodded feeling his arms wrap around her waist.

Jaquel felt her wet cheek as he pressed his lips to her right one and immediately felt his heart hit his stomach. “Lisa.. I’m sorry.”Lisa opened her eyes more tears easily slipping down her cheeks. “It’s fine Jaquel, It’s not like you knew. You can’t control what life puts in front of you, You are only doing the right thing, You’re a great man, I just wish things could have been a bit different, but I’m okay.” Jaquel looked into her beautiful tear filled eyes. “But I broke your heart baby girl and I wish I hadn’t done that” Jaquel frowned wiping her eyes with his thumbs “I’ll be fine.” Lisa nodded trying to dry her eyes. Jaquel frowned putting his forehead to hers while looking into her eyes.

“Lisa, I love you.” “I love you too” Lisa nodded kissing his lips. “Jaquel kissed her back hearing his house phone ring. Letting her loose he walked over to get it. “Jaquel, It’s Jasmine, could we possibly talk now, it’s the only time I really am free.” Jaquel looked over at Lisa her beautiful smile and glow gone. Jaquel sighed, “Yeah sure Jasmine, we should talk anyway” “I’ll be there in 30mintues”Jaquel placed a hand to his aching forehead. ,”Okay see you than” Jaquel hung up the phone waking over to Lisa agan.

Lisa looked at him shaking her legs uncomfortably. , “Do you want me to go?”Jaquel frowned. , ”No baby, I want you to stay.” Lisa nodded focusing on the t.v again.  Jaquel watched her and touched her hand. Lisa looked at him reaching over she started to unzip his jeans. Jaquel open his mouth to protest but instead relaxed into the couch letting her climbing ontop of him.

Jaquel and Lisa’s sex had gotten heated because the bell rang freely as 30mintues passed. Lisa bit her bottom lip eagerly trying to ride him rapidly trying to finish quickly. Jaquel gripped her hips rocking her quicker, but Lisa only slowed down trying to catch her breath. Jaquel looked up at her upset because he couldn’t give her the relief she wanted. Lisa frowned getting up. ,”It’s okay, just get the door…” Lisa walked away to his bed room. She had lost her sexual appetite just as quickly as it came.

Jaquel watched her get off him and walk off towards his room. Jaquel sighed pulling his jeans up over his semi erection. Jaquel walked over answering the front door. Jasmine smiled at him colliding her lips with his, Jaquel jumped away from her kiss and stepped aside to let her in. Jasmine looked at him confused before entering his house. Jasmine set down her purse as she took a seat on his couch. “Okay, let make plans for our daughter.”
