I walked down the dirt path to my small home just steps away. My father is yelling at my mom as usual. "WHY ISN'T DINNER READY, YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING", my father screams. "ALL YOU DO IS WORK YOU NEVER EVEN TALK TO ANYONE" my mom screams back. This happens everyday, I walk to my gray room, cold room. Charlie  runs into my room. "Will they ever stop arguing", he asked me. "They will one day" I said trying to sound reassuring. Charlie is only 7 and think that this happens in every house. I hug Charlie," I'll play with you in a bit" I told him. I walked into the living room to get my jacket but I saw the anger in my fathers eyes. He looked like he could snap at any second so I went back in Charlie's room. "Let's just play right now,"I told him. He ran out the door excitedly. I looked in the yard for a ball but all of them had holes in them. I found a golf ball behind a big rose bush. I climb into it to retrieve the golf ball but I ripped up my pant and got cut. "Oh shit",I said yo myself. Charlie saw me and looked scared. "I'm okay!, do you still wanna play!", I asked. "Yes", he said. I tossed the golf ball back and fort till we both got tired. When I walk inside the house my mother yelled at at me "What did you do now?!". "I just fell in the rose bush", I said lying. She grabbed me and Charlie by the ear and screamed, "YOU KIDS RUIN EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH". She pushed Charlie and I into my room and slammed the door. "I guess your sleeping in here tonight, I'll go to the grocery store and buy some bread and banaids for us to eat since mom won't feed us tonight" I told him. "Can I come?", He asked. "Fine let's go."
