HIS FUTURE

Everyday at café,
The Boy waited for her,
But she never came,
His heart was in a whirl.

Every night he dreamed,
Of meeting her tomorrow,
But she never came,
What left was just sorrow.

Every evening after café,
He took that same walk,
But she was never there,
To laugh with him and talk.

He rued that moment,
The moment he'd proposed,
For breaking their friendship,
Leaving him exposed.

He wished for a device,
Some magic to turn back time,
He wished to go back,
And make it all fine.

But his world was no magic,
It never had been,
Moments worse than this,
He had faced and seen.

He was a little boy,
Barely going to school,
When destiny turned its wand,
Made his life a fool.

It took his parents away,
Snatched him from their love,
That day he had realized,
It was a devil above.

The little boy had struggled,
Struggled hard for his life,
At every nook and corner,
He had to put up a fight.

He thought she was the spark,
That would turn his life,
He thought she was the one,
Who would become his wife.

But she was also gone,
His final hope denied,
He decided, no more,
It was time to end his life.
