Bella P.O.V

The night was suddenly disturbed by a small cry coming from the monitor that laid right next to my bed. At first the sound is faint but then it turns into a loud cry, followed by Mommy!

The sudden cry makes me jump out of bed immediately, followed by Edward. We both run into our daughter's, Angela, room. I flick the lights on and see her curled up in a ball and hidden under the covers. I sigh in relief and walk over to her.

"Baby, what's the matter?" I uncover her and bring her in my arms. She whimpered in my arms and hugged herself to me until she hung like a little monkey.

"Coco," she whimpered.

Edward check the little nightlight we have here in her room and looks at me. "The light went out, baby?"

Angie pulled away and looked at her dad with pouty lips and nodded. I smile at my little girl, she is so afraid of the dark that she even has her own little monster that according to her tickles her feet at night if it's too dark. Edward walked over and pulled his little girl in a hug.

"There's no Coco here, baby. Look around." He points around the room and she follows. "See? No Coco."

But that didn't convince little stubborn Angie. She pouted again and hugged herself like a monkey to her father. This little four year old is such a handful sometimes, this is not the first night it has happened. It has happened various times and sometimes we need our little charming prince, Anthony, to calm her down.

I love the relationship they have together. Angie is obsessed with her brother, she follows him everywhere and it does sometimes annoy Anthony. He has the same frustrated look like his father. They're so alike.

"I'll go check if Anthony didn't wake up," I said to Edward as he tried to get Angie back to sleep. I kiss him before heading out to Anthony's room next door. Usually when Angie did a scene like this, he's the first one in the room with her.

When I walk in, I see his little form jump on the bed and lay under the covers. I smile to myself and turn the lights on.

"Aren't you supposed to be asleep, young man?"

I see his body rise and drop. He sits on his bed and rubs his eyes. "Angie woke me up."

I walk over to his bed and sit down. "And how come you weren't in the room?" I asked. He looked down at his hands and shrugged. "Baby, tell me."

"I just..." He sighed again and ran his little hands through his hair. An Edward gesture which causes me to smile. "I got scared. She cried louder than last time and I actually thought there was a monster there."

My smile slowly fades away. I take a deep breath and touch the side of his face. My little boy, what I would give for him not to experience the fear I came to feel almost eight years ago. Sometimes I feel like it never went away, like tonight or every other night the fear that one day I will wake up to know that this amazing life I have is all a false dream and instead of waking in Edward's arms, I'll wake up in the warehouse where Elizabeth died.

"You have nothing to be afraid of, you know why?"

"Why?"

"Because your and I will never let anything hurt you or your sister. Think about it now, your father is scaring away Coco from your sister and he used to do the same when you were younger."

"I was not afraid of Coco!"

"Oh, yes you were," I tease. "You used Mr. Teddy to scare him away at night. You said he was a warrior."
