Lily's p.o.v
The wealthy part of the population is almost always the most praised, with everybody wanting what someone else has, not what said person already is gifted. I believe that the higher status that is given to us puts a type of mindset in the middle and lower class which leads them to believe we are better than them. Which, really it's the complete opposite. I mean, I love the luxurious life that I live, but sometimes I would like to know what it would be like to come home to a family that works hard for what they have, even if they don't have a lot.

The room smelt of expensive cologne and all you could see was the newest designer clothing. 4 pictures on each wall, each worth more than a truffle. Cliques of people separated by nationality, of course not intentionally. Although, the general wealthy public is extremely judgmental.

"Lillian," a voice called making me turn around. Zayn was walking towards me while glancing at the art work that covered the walls.

"Yes?" I sighed. Zayn and I were not the closest of friends, but nor was I with anybody. I liked keeping to myself rather than getting involved in friendships with people that weren't worth my time.

"Would you like to meet a friend of mine? He hasn't stopped talking about you since I mentioned I knew you."

"Not really, but I don't have much of a choice I'm guessing." I made a motion with my hand implying for him to lead the way.

We walked down the large hallway filing through the numerous heads, moving my hand in the slightest wave to anyone that addressed me. Turning right at the end of the hallway, Zayn unlocked a door which revealed a large set of stairs at least 5 stories high. Not thinking much of it, I followed close behind him. When we finally got to the top of the stairs, I was breathless and slightly angry at Zayn because we could've just taken the elevator.

"Zayn!"

He turned to look at me raising an eyebrow in a questioning manner.

"Why the hell didn't we just take the elevator?"

"I wanted it to seem more romantic," he said shrugging like it was nothing.

Why he would think walking up a stair case would be romantic beats me, but I just shrugged it off. Usually whatever Zayn does has a reason.

He unlocked the door at the top of the stair case and immediately when I stepped through, a rush of cold air hit me. We were standing on the top of the roof, and we weren't the only ones up here. The guy that I assumed to be Zayn's friend stood atop the roof looking out at the sunset.

"Harry," Zayn caught the guy's attention. I guess his name was Harry. He turned around at the call of his name and may I just say, God definitely spent his time on this one.

His eyes looked at Zayn then floated to me, and his expression lit up with excitement. He walked over to me with control but his twitching hands said he was anything but calm. Why? I don't know.

I bought my hand out to shake his hand once he stepped in front of me. We shook hands and introduced ourselves to each other but he kept my hand in his hold.

"Hi, my name is Harry. It's nice to finally meet you." I nodded at him and said the same. His eyes were magnificent.

"I like the color of your eyes, they're very nice," I said voicing my thoughts. He smiled at that, and took his hand out of mine finally.

"Thank you, Lily. You're quite beautiful yourself," I smirked and looked at Zayn. "You can leave if you wish, you know." He nodded and exited the door we came through.

I turned towards Harry again and suggested we watch the sunset. He agreed and helped me sit over the edge of the roof. We were at least 12 stories high so it wasn't the safest decision but I doubt I would actually end up falling.

Harry and I talked about endless topics for the majority of the night before I decided it was time for me to go home. At some point, Harry gave me his jacket against my protest. Stretching as I stood up from the edge, I handed the coat back to him and smiled softly at him as he struggled to get up. He said it was because he had problems with his knee but I knew it was because his bum was sore.

Harry and I bid our goodbyes and promised to see each other again, before going our separate ways. I have to remind myself to thank Zayn for forcing me to try and make friends for one night.
