Sinenyasan siya ng Dean pumunta sa tabi nito. Napatingin siya kay Adrienne, hinawakan ng huli ang kamay niya at marahan itong pinisil. Kakatwang nakaramdam siya ng pagkakalma. Huminga siya ng malalim at naglakad na hanggang sa tuluyang nakalapit. Inabot sa kanya ng Dean ang mikropono.

Napatingin siya sa mga tao. Nakikita niya sina Asha, ang kambal, si Sam, lalo na si Adrienne. Maraming mga importanteng tao ang naroon. She's happy, but then, there's a part of her that's longing for someone.

Her mother...

How she wish her mother was there. Hindi pa rin ito nagpaparamdam kahit sa text.  Tell me, what happened?

Pansamantala niya munang inalis 'yon sa isipan. She cleared her throat, collecting her thoughts. "G-good evening. Uh...thank you for celebrating this important event of my life with me. Siguro nga bago lang ako dito, I'm still adjusting a little. Bago lang ako dito but then, I feel like I really do belong here."

Napangiti ang ilan dahil sa sinabi niya and it fueled her to continue.

"Being here is the best thing that happened to me. I made friends, I learned things na hindi ko lang matututunan sa mga textbooks, and I found a family." Napatingin siya sa mga kaibigan at kay Adrienne na tinanguhan siya, they all looked pleased. "Hindi pa 'ko nagtatagal dito pero pakiramdam ko dito ko na ginugol ang buong pahina ng buhay ko. And I love every chapters of it. And I'm hoping to continue the next chapters of my life with the presence of all the people in my life. Thank you." She ended.

They gave her a round of applause habang umaalis sa platform. Bumalik siya sa tabi ni Adrienne kasama sina Asha habang nagpapatuloy ang Dean sa program.

She felt something stirred inside her. Pakiramdam niya ay may nagwawala sa sa kanya.

We're going to be one... The voice said on her head na binabaliwala niya.

They took the table that's reserved for them and they all ate together. Hindi na bago sa kanila ang magkuwentuhan at ang magbiruan, parang hindi sila nauubusan ng mapag-uusapan. They literally talked anything under the sun. Natatawa tuloy siya. Panaka-naka rin nilang pinapakinggan ang mga bisitang nagbibigay ng mensahe sa kanya. The moment felt surreal.

She decided to go with the flow.

The program continued. Sinimulan nang isayaw na iba't-ibang mga bisitang dumalo si Elisse. Some of those gave her messages which she really appreciated.

Nakasayaw niya rin si Sam and the girl seemed happy while they dance. She told her how ecstatic she was for having the chance to be with her in the special moment of Elisse's life.

Asha, too, greeted her with the usual smile on her face. Inasar pa siya nito tungkol sa kanila ni Adrienne. She was blushing all the time. She danced with the twin, too. Nakakaaliw lang kasi para itong mga bata. They even thanked her for acting like a real older sister to them.

Kahit si Diamond na nakasayaw niya ay nagkuwento rin sa kanya, nagpalasamat din ito dahil naging kaibigan niya ang asawa nito. Namangha pa nga siya dahil unang beses niya lang itong nakitang ngumiti para kanya.

And lastly...

Inabot nito ang kamay sa kanya. Another song started playing while she was accepting the hand of the person in front of her.

Take my hand, I'll teach you to dance.
I'll spin you around, won't let you fall down.

Her partner placed Elisse's hand on her feminine shoulders while the former was settled on her waist.

Would you let me lead? You can step on my feet.
Give it a try, it'll be alright

They swayed slowly. Tiningnan niya ito at napangiti dahil sa paraam ng pagtingin nito sa kanya. The woman smiled and gave her a kiss on her forehead.
