Nothing but troble

         Chapter 1

5 years later...

I was perched atop the tallest building I could find in this awful city. It was daylight but it seemed to never shine with light. I was blended in with the gargoyles trying not to be seen. I was listening for screams of help. After something had happened a few years ago I swore to myself to help the needy and ditch the bad. All I could hear was a child crying, a man coughing, and...

"HELP!" I frantically looked around and heard it leading to the woods. I sprouted my wings quickly and flew to where it was.

Perching myself right on top of the branch where the girl had cried for help. She was on a cracked branch and down below where three rouges wolves trying to get their daily snack. I quickly jumped in a bush and made a low throaty growl. The rouges stopped and stared. I slowly walked out and circled them. One jumped at me but I easily threw him to the tree. When the others saw I could do that they fled. I quickly grabbed the girl pulling her on my back and running to her mom. her mom saw me and grabbed her child quickly walking away.

"You stay away from that that thing! It's a demon not a savior." Said the mom to her child.

I rolled my eyes and flew back to my ledge looking over the school grounds usually there's a problem or two.

"Get off of me you scrawl!" I looked and saw a girl attempting to get free of two boys grips I growled to myself. I hated these boys.

I flew to the edge of the woods walking out and the boys saw me but still didn't budge.

"Ha you got your little demon wolf here to help ya?"

I growled throwing him off of the girl and kicking the other the girl jumped on my back and I ran around the school quickly finding a big group of kids.

She got off and looked at me. "Can I touch you?" She asked. I swiftly nodded and she gently touched my ear and scratched behind it. The school bell rang and she looked at me about to walk off but then she hugged me. I was shocked and froze in place. She let go then ran off to her high school.

"Well well well if it isn't little miss demon wolf." I moaned at the sound of her high pitched annoying voice. I turned and saw she had three friends with her.

"What do you want angel." She smiled like all she wanted to hear was me say her name.

"O well I was just telling my new friends about how lovely your little bond over there is." She smiled innocently.

"My sister was my bond and you know that!" I growled at her.

She backed up a little but glared at me. "Don't forget your place here creed. You have no right yelling at me we're in the same spot. I could easily take you down." She said with a cocky little smirk.

"Even without your wolf? I'd love to see that happen." I said. After that I ran off.

Now I have a bond to protect. Time to go back to school. Great.
