Chapter 9.

__Caius__

I watched Miranda, what if he came for her next?

I let my head fall on the back of the couch.

Esme smiled "Caius, you need to feed" she said.

I shook my head.

"Caius" Aro said "You really do."

I bit my lip.

"Cessy would want you to" Marcus said.

They all agreed.

"Fine! But, I go alone."

I walked out and climbed trees, until I got on the outskirts of Forks.

I ran in any other direction than Forks, Washington.

I saw a man, not too old, hair red.

I landed in front of him "What the-". he said, and I jumped on him, getting to his neck, and muffling his screams with one hand.

When I had disposed of the human, I went to the woods near the Cullens' where me and Cess had our picnics.

I smiled as I remembered our first one here when I figured out finally she wasn't turned all the way.

"Can I take the blindfold off now?" she had asked.

"No, just a little bit longer." I had said.

She huffed.

Then I stopped and didn't take off the blindfold "Caius?" she had asked.

"Yes" I answered.

"Why didn't you take off the blindfold?"

"Because of this" I had said, and kissed her.

I didn't know when I had fell onto one knee but, I had.

Its been three days without her.

And I can't keep going on.

I rushed back to the house.

__Cessy__

"Caius" I whimpered.

"Caius, Caius" .Derek said, snickering at me through the bars.

"He ain't coming to save you" he said, and laughed.

I growled "You wait, Derek, you can't keep me here forever."

He smiled "Want a bet" he said.

I wrapped my fingers around the bars.

"If you lay one finger, or even touch one hair on Miranda's head, I will kill you, not Caius, or my father, or the rest of my family but, me" I said.

"Family" he said, and snickered "They ain't family" he said.

"Now, my dear, I am off to get your precious daughter" he laughed "I hope you are starving, because your both going to be put in the same cell" he chuckled and disappeared.

I held my head in my hands, he wants me to hurt my own daughter?

I bit my lip, and hoped and prayed they would hurry and save me.
