Afraid of the dark
Danny was always afraid of the dark.
Ever since he was little, he tells his parents there are monsters in his closet and under his bead.
He peed in his bed the first night his night light went out.
He was in high school now, still he is afraid, but he tells himself he will be ok.
His brother, Jason, was older than him.
Jason wanted to play a prank on Danny.
He gathered many people an hid in Danny's closet, they also turned all the light circuits out.
Jason called Danny, telling him to come home.
Danny rode home in the dark, struggled to get up the steps to his house, and walked in.
He was afraid.
He couldn't get the light switch to turn on.
Someone also hid under Danny's bed, and made a noise.
Danny walked into his room, and heard creaking from his closet.
Scared, he wrapped himself up with his bed sheets, and squealed.
Suddenly the person under his bed grabbed Danny as he screamed.
The next day his girlfriend broke up with him.
Embarrassed.
Danny wanted revenge.
So he got it.
He planned it and one night, he did it.
Danny was home, and called Jason.
"Jason come home!!!! The lights went out and Im freaking out!" He screamed in the phone.
Jason believed it, because he came home in 5 minutes.
He yelled Danny's name, for he was in the hallway closet, hiding.
When Jason walked past him, he jumped out of the closet, grabbed Jason, and dragged him in the closet.
For Jason was missing,
And Danny smiles at the thought of the monsters being happy for him.
Danny did not kill Jason.
For the monsters did.
The invisible monsters.
And they are real.
