I packed and packed, shoving in shorts, Tank Tops, and crop tops. I only had 30 minutes to pack for Camp Redfurwa. "Lilla! Come down here! We need to talk!" Celia, my mom yelled. "Yes ma'am!" I came running down the stairs. "Hm?" I hummed as I got downstairs. "Sit down at the table..." Mom pulled out a chair. I sat down. "So, how are you going to get to the bus? I have to go to work in 5 minutes." Mom asked, leaning in closer. "I'm gonna walk." I answered nonchalantly. "Okay. Thanks." I ran back upstairs. I checked my clock. 5 minutes left!? I packed. And packed. And packed. "GO GO GO!!" I yelled, as I dragged my suitcase diwn the stairs and ran out the door. Running all the way to the bus stop without stopping is harder than you think.
