All the world is full of suffering. It is also full of overcoming. - Helen Keller

Shattered and petrified, the woman ran through the ravenous blizzard. It was as if the welcoming castle could not have been farther away. Her slim frame shook with delight as she made her way further into the storm. Fawn knew that the game she was about to play was venomous, but she just couldn't help herself. Her whole life had led up to this moment. After the news pounded on every door from kingdom to kingdom; about the killings that just occurred in Nalyra, the young woman dashed for the nearest wagon. Her mother had always told her to chase after what she wanted, and that was exactly what she was doing.

Leo felt the frosty air sneak into his room through the blowing curtains. Even the trees outside shivered at the winter, which cast its icy shadow over the land. The castle itself stayed nice and toasty since it was situated on a hot spring. The Young King stood by the balcony while his new servant girls filled the bath up with boiling water. The view was astonishing. From the balcony you could stare out into the dark nothingness, the fields just glimmering with the moonlight above. Yet, in the simple nature of the view, you could still see the edge of the forest, with oak trees that were now covered in a small coat of snow. Leo stopped his wandering thoughts and dropped his robe. His body was fit, iron-muscled, but still slim nonetheless. The cold winds hit his naked body. He never felt more refreshed in his life. By the time he made his way to the bath, it had already cooled down significantly. It was warm to the touch as his toes met the soothing liquid. He slowly let his body adjust to the heat before getting in all the way. This is when the chamber doors opened to reveal a woman who wore a light purple, iris colored hood. Leo's eyes took on a hunted look.

With small steps the woman walked forward. Not one inch of the boy was fearful of her. Curiosity filled his chest when she met him face to face. Leo wondered who exactly this person was, who came to him without any hesitation.

"Greetings your Highness. I am here to serve you on accord of my older sister who did not make the trip, sadly. My father sent me along to help her arrive, but our wagon slid off the trail and plunged into the frozen river below. " She said without wavering in her eye contact.

Leo took in her words carefully to thought before drawing up his own response. "Women should never travel on their own. However, this is none of my concern. I suppose you've come to light the candles then, servant girl?" The air between them ever tighter.

"No, that is not why I am here. I am here to pleasure your desires, sire." The woman became more confident in her abilities by the second.

"May I ask, do you have a name?" Leo questioned in a curious awe.

The woman took a slight pause before answering, "Fawn".

The King smiled. "What a beautiful name. It is certainly one I do not hear often." He looked at her with his sapphire blue eyes.

Fawn glanced down at the bath, discovering that her New King was bare beneath the water, which was covered by the room's shadows. Leo watched as she let her long, auburn hair loose. It rolled down her back like a river that met a waterfall. Fawn's dark, holly green eyes complimented her petite body wonderfully. He couldn't contain himself for another minute. Leo reached his arm out and grabbed Fawn's hand. It was soft to the touch. Carefully, he ran his fingers over her palm. Even the light sensations sent a chill up his spine. Purity swarmed through the girl's body like the plague. Her mother had been overprotective of Fawn when she was young. While the few candles glittered in the background and the winds shook the room, Leo moved his wet hands across her back and unlatched her dress. Their pounding heartbeats made up for the lack of words. The dress dropped in the next moment to the floor. Fawn's hands stayed by her side to show the young man that she was not afraid or weak.
