Asahi walked to the Karasuno gym along with two of his bestfriends, Sugawara and Daichi, in hope that Nishinoya would be there so that he could propose to Yuu of being his boyfriend. To consider Asahi having feelings for Nishinoya. Though on the way, it seemed quiet. As the three had approached, Tsukki, Yamagachi, Hinata, Kageyama and Tanaka were already stretching and having some conversation going on. But Nishinoya wasn't there. The brunette then frowned of the libero's absence.
"Oh, Asahi, Nishinoya's mom called in saying that Yuu is sick."
Daichi said, looking at Asahi.
Asahi looked back at the captain.
"Oh okay."
He replied, looking away.
"Alright boys, let's get practice started!"
Daichi exclaimed, getting the teammates attention.
*Timeskip after practice*
As practice was done, it was already merely seven o' clock. Asahi picked up his bag, deciding that he'd stop by at his bestfriend's house.
"Good practice, Asahi!"
Hinata called out, smiling then tossed his bag over his head.
Asahi looked at the boy, smiling back a little.
"You too, Hinata."
Hinata hurried to Asahi.
"Where's Nishinoya? It's odd he didn't show up."
Hinata said, his smile disappearing.
"Well, he's out sick, Hinata. But I'm sure he'll be up and running in no time."
Asahi reassured Hinata, walking out the gym doors with Hinata. Hinata then went after his bike.
"Well, goodnight, Asahi san!"
Hinata said, taking off. Asahi then waved, walking to Nishinoya's house.
As the time he had approached to Nishinoya's front porch, it was about seven ten P.M. Asahi then rang the doorbell, waiting by for someone to answer. As a few seconds passed, nothing. He tried knocking a little loud this time. Only to see the libero hang his head low, shirtless and just in boxers. Yuu then opened the door, barely looking at Asahi.
"Yuu! You should be resting, and not out of bed."
Asahi said, looking at Yuu worried.
"I-I'm fine Asahi.. I just have a really bad cold. Come in, please."
Yuu then walked away from the door, wobbling.
Asahi followed, scooping Yuu up. Nishinoya letted out a groan, lying his head on Asahi's chest.
"Come on, I'm gonna take you to bed. You need to rest."
Asahi said, holding Nishinoya securely then walked to his bedroom.
"I-I can't.. I tried that already. Can you please stay with me, for a while? An hour or two?"
Yuu asked, wrapping an arm around Asahi. Yuu sounded desperate and horrible too. Asahi nodded, gently lying the libero down on his bed. Then Asahi shooted a text to his mom that he'd be coming late and taking care of a friend.
Asahi then putted his phone away. Yuu turned over, groaning more.
"Yuu it's okay, I'm here."
Asahi said, sitting on his bed.
"A-Asahi..."
Yuu then turned to him, crawling on his lap.
Asahi looked at the small boy, holding him in his arms and lied down.
Yuu curled up, moving up where his head was on the crook of Asahi's neck.
"Yuu..?"
Yuu didn't respond, just only by wrapping his arms around Asahi.
Asahi looked at Yuu, massaging his back and looked away.
Yuu seemed to be asleep, or just by judging how quiet he went.
Asahi just stared at the room. There were some posters of athletes and some of music groups. There were some banners but that was just teams.
Yuu then moved away from his neck, gazing Asahi.
"Are you really ok? I can fetch you some water?"
Asahi asked, pushing some hair out of the libero's face. Yuu only nodded 'no', lying his head back down. Asahi then ran his fingers in his hair, ocassionly looking at Yuu. Yuu was still awake at the time, almost was drifting off to his sleep.
"Hey, um. I got something to ask you."
Asahi broke the conversation, fixing his gaze on Yuu. Nishinoya then turned his head to him.
"Yeah..?"
Yuu letted out a croak.
"I was wondering that if you um. Would like to be my boyfriend?"
Yuu then smiled a little.
"I'd love to be."
