Prologue

Magkikita kami ngayon ni Daniel dito sa isang resto somewhere here in Manila pero yung super tagong-tago. We just need to talk about something.

I'm currently waiting for him and after the long wait, at last he andito narin siya.

"Oh, bakit may ganito? Iba na pala ngayon noh? Babae na ang nakikipag-date." Daniel joked.

"This is not a date." Ako

"So, ano tawag mo dito?" Daniel

"We need to talk Deej. Yung matino." Ako

"Matino naman tayong nag-uusap ngayon, ah?" Daniel

"Please Deej, I'm not joking. Please makinig ka muna habang hindi pa ako nauubusan ng pasensya." Ako

"O-okay. Ano pala ang pag-uusapan, natin?" Daniel

"About, yung nangyari right after my debut." Ako

"K-Kath, I'm so sorry about that, sorry kung hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko, I'm so sorry. Di--" Daniel

"It's okay. Pareho naman nating ginusto yun eh." Ako

"But, still. I wanted to apologize for what happened. I'm really sorry." Dj

"Wait. You're sorry for what happened between the two of us that night? You're sorry because we did that? So, ako lang ba ang may gusto sa nangyari?" Me

"N-no ginusto ko din yun. What I mean is, I'm really really sorry because I didn't wait for the right time, for the perfect time. I'm sorry." Dj

"oh, okay. Sorry. And yeah, it's okay." Me

"So, ano pa yung pag-uusapan natin eh okay na naman pala? Why are we here?" Daniel

"Dj, help me. I badly needed yoyr help." Ako

"W-why? What happened?" Daniel

Nakikita ko sa mga mata niya ang pagiging taranta niya.

"Na..." Me

"Ano?" Dj

Sht, di ko talaga alam ang sasabihin ko. I don't know how to tell him this.

But I really have to. I need to.

"Naka buo tayo." sabi ko ng dere deretcho.

"Wait what?! Nakabuo tayo? You mean, buntis ka?" Dj

By the tone he uses, by his facial expression he looks mad and disappointed. I didn't expect this.

He used to tell me he wants to have a child. He wants us to have a family.

So I expected him to be happy. But no, it turns out that he is not.

"Yes. Magkakaanak na tayo." I said and forcing to smile even though deep inside I'm nervous af.

"Hahahahahahahahahahaha, what a nice joke Kath! Hahahahaha." Daniel

He just kept on laughing. But he's laugh is not a true laugh. It's fake.

"This is not a joke. This is freaking true!" Ako

"Diba sabi mo na mag-usap tayo ng matino? Then why are you joking? Ikaw talaga Kath." Daniel

"Hindi nga kasi to joke!! I'm not joking. I'm telling the truth." Ako

"Tss, I know you. Just stop it Kath. So, ano na nga?" Daniel

"Buntis nga ako!" Ako

"Tss, Kath, we just did it ONE TIME. ONE-TIME! Pano naman tayo makabuo?" Daniel
