The ride home was silent. Everyone was to tired to actually start a conversation. It was a little after one in the morning and I knew that I would have to wake up pretty early tomorrow since I haven't seen any of my friends in almost three years. Tragic.

Once we got home, I instantly went up to my room and was happy to see that it was exactly the way that I left it. I snuggled under my covers and feel into a deep slumber.

______________

The next morning, I woke up from hearing yelling downstairs. I squinted my eyes and looked at my alarm clock. I was surprised when I read that it was only twelve. I was pretty sure that someone would've came and woken me up.

I grabbed a towel and washcloth ready to start my daily hygiene routine. I walked down the hall into the bathroom and let the hot water run for a minute. I grabbed my Warm Vanilla Sugar soap from the hall closet. I took a long soothing shower and washed my straighted hair. The water felt so warm and gentle on my skin. The best part was that I didn't have to take quick showers like I had to in New York so the hot water wouldn't run out. Once I hopped out the shower I rung my hair hair out and tied it into a bun. I dried my body off, lotioned up and put on my bra and panties. I picked out a simple white t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I took my hair out of the bun and blow dried it so it was completely dry.

My wild red curls were hanging down my back which I loved. Yes, I dyed my whole head red. Not a bright red but I nice subtle brownish red color. I think it really fit me and it was something different that I liked.

I hooked up my curling iron and curled my my hair into loose curls. I sprayed some hair spray on them afterwards. I applied a small amount of makeup to my face - concealer, mascara, eyeliner, and my favorite strawberry lipgloss. I fluffed my hair one last time before I snapped on my sandals and took a few pictures for Instagram.

I left my phone in my pocket and made my way downstairs into the kitchen. My mom sat there talking on the phone while drinking a cup of coffee - probably black since that's all she ever drinks.

"Good afternoon, mommy dearest." I greeted, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning, Brielle. I think Jacob is outside waiting for you. Go see what he wants." She responded, slowly sipping on her coffee.

I nodded my head and poured a small glass of orange juice and drunk it all before walking out the back door.

"Welcome back, Brielle!" Everyone yelled into my face, surprising me.

I covered my mouth and grasped onto my chest. My friends are truly the best. The first person who ran up to me was Darshay. She grabbed me into a tight hug almost squeezing the air out of me.

"I missed you too, Darshay. Do you mind letting go a little? You're squeezing me to death!" I said, laughing a little.

"I'm sorry it's just that I haven't seen you in two years! Look at you, dyeing your hair and looking all cute." She said, running her hands through my hair.

"I know, I think it was time to change it up a bit. You changed too! Look at you, getting them curves in." I told her, admiring her flawless body.

"Get out the way, Darshay!" November yelled, pushing her to the side and embracing me into a hug. "How has it been, best friend?"

I laughed lightly and rested my head on November's shoulder since she was about my height. "I've been fine! I'm just so happy that I'm surrounded by the people I love."

"You look so cute with your red hair, get it girl!" She said, bumping hips with me.

I greeted everyone including Craig, Daniel, and Carina. But I lastly had to greet Ray and baby mama - a.k.a Lola.
