Antonio's P.O.V.

An author once said enjoy life. You never now when one day could be your last

I walked up the top steps to intelligence and noticed Erin walking across "What do we got?"

She pointed to Mouse. I walked over to his desk "Please tell me we got something" I put my hands on his desk

"There's a video of someone getting into her house, wearing a black hoodie. There's another video where he's getting into a car. I ran the plates and it came back to Jacob Garcia. But he wasn't involved because his car was stolen"

"So we're back to square one?" I asked

"Basically" He says nodding his head

I hung my head down "Damn.." I whispered under my breath and walked back to my desk

"Roman, Burgess" Voight called out

They walked up the last step "You wanted us Sarge" Burgess said

Voight nodded "Yea, go down to Chicago Med. Have Jay come down here we need his help. And stay there to keep an eye on Taylor"

"Keep an eye on her?" Roman asked

"Yes. Whoever tried to kill her is still out there. And no doubt they will want to try again. Stay with her and don't leave her sight" He demanded

They nodded and walked off. Jay, I didn't really want to see his face. I don't know what ticked him off so badly to lash out on me like that. Honestly I care about Taylor so much, and it pains me to hear about what happened. What she must have felt. Which made me want to catch this son of bitch even more. After about 15 minutes I heard footsteps which made me pick my head up. It was Jay, once he came up he glared at me. And I did the same

"How is she?" Adam asked as Voight was walking out of his office

I heard Jay exhale "No change"

"Okay, Jay we need to know everything about Taylor. Someone wanted her gone, and we need to know who"

"I don't really know anyone who would want to do that" Jay said

"Maybe someone in her foster home. She didn't have a good family there. Maybe someone got set off" Erin suggested

Voight nodded "Alright, take Antonio with you. Halstead" He called and began to walk into his office. Jay followed behind him as the both entered his office

"Right now I need you to hang back. Help us out here but as of now your not working this case out in the field" Voight said as he turned around to him and stood behind his desk

"With all due respect Sarge. I need to work this case in here and out there"

"I will tell you how to run my unit. And this is how I'm running it"

"This is my sister were talking about!" His voice softly raising "She's on life support. She's not even breathing on her own"

Voight stayed silent for a moment "We're gonna catch this guy. But what I said is final. As long as this case is open, your working in here"
