you mean so much to me
i wish you could realize
smile that could light up the darkest days
your personality lights up a room
like the sun's brightest rays
beautiful brown skin
tattoos scattering it
arms i wish i could lie within
the feel of your touch
even just a hug
something i desire so much
beautiful boy with a wondrous mind
sounds escape your lips
numerous thoughts left behind
music used to express those thoughts
you play the bass in a band
singing all those thoughts you forgot
invisible, you stand
beautiful boy, thank you for everything
from me and others around
the first time i heard you sing,
the first time i heard that sound
i knew you would make me happy
even in the darkest times
i don't want to get too sappy
but this was just a really bad rhyme
about the beautiful boy who changed my life
i couldn't thank you enough.
