Graces POV
I find it terrifying to walk through the hallways in school, knowing people are staring and judging you as you walk by.
I try to ignore them; I try to just keep a smile on my face and walk by with confidence. I probably look pathetic to other people.
As I notice people are starting to point and laugh, I pick up the pace in my step. I don't want to make it obvious that they were effecting me, so I try not to run.
I just keep my quick pace, trying to avoid looking anywhere but in front of me. I just hope none of the girls find me..
I soon arrive at my class, hoping this period goes by quickly. It's the last period of the day, and it's health. I've always hated health.
Usually it goes by fast, but it depends on how the students are. If they act up, the work takes longer. If they choose to actually do what their supposed to do, which is rare, the period goes by quickly.
I sit down in the back of the class, at the very end of the row. I always try to distance myself from the rest of the students in my classes.
~---time skip to after health---~
Bloody hell, that class took (seemingly) forever. Once I hear the bell ring, I grab my books and get up, heading towards the door.
"The bell does not dismiss you, I do." Mr. Clayton, my health teacher, says looking directly at me. I try staying calm, but I have some anger issues..
"Then what the fuck is the bell for?" I snap back towards him, almost immediately regretting it once I heard the whole class gasp.
Mr. Clayton starts walking towards me and I try running out of the room before feeling a hand roughly grab my arm. "Excuse me? What did you just say, Grace?"
I go wide eyed, holding my breath. I hate attention in general, but now I had the whole classes eyes drawn towards me. "N-nothing Mr. Clayton.." I stutter, shaking nervously.
"Everyone, get out of my classroom. Grace, stay here." I sigh, walking to the back of the classroom. Another detention? Good job Grace.
