The view

"Are you ready for this?" He asks as he takes her hand, she nods yes and they step onto the creaky bus. Scanning the rows of identical teal blue seats, he spots two available in the right side of the bus near the window. "Do you prefer the view?" she asks, pointing to the open window seat. He shakes his head and nudges her towards the empty seats. She sits down on the seat next to the window and turns back to face him as he glances at her and smiles. She tilts her head, asks "what?" and raises her eyebrows slightly. He continues to look at her for another perfect minute and whispers "I can see an even better view from here."

Her blush was instant. The words took effect on her in a mere heart beat.

She stares out the bus window, unable turn back and look into those adoring green eyes.
