A young girl ran down the path, a smile on her face. The girl ran past other kids who would wave and say their hellos as she past. The girl would wave back or shout a hello back however, she was in to big of a hurry to slow down and say it. None other the other kids mind though, it was (Y/n), the (h/c) girl who was always running off somewhere mysterious. Over the years, the other kokiri's have just given up guessing where she ever disappeared too. Some times she'd be gone a whole day and no one worried to much about it, they knew she'd come back. She only was ever with her close friends or in her 'secret hideout' as she called it.
Right now, (Y/n) was off to visit her best friend, Link. Link, like (y/n), had no fairy. They were the only two out of all the kokiri's to be fairy-less but there wasn't anything they could do about it. As the great deku tree told them, they'd get their fairy's in time and that they could only wait. They've grown to not care as much and have found they've gotten around just find without one.
"(Y/n) WAIT UP!" (Y/n) slide to a stop, turning her head and smiling to she another one of her good friends, Saria. Saria was one of the kindness girls in the forest and is know for being nice to everyone. That was the reason she was friends with everyone there.
The green haired girl ran up to her friend, smiling as she stopped, caching her breath before speaking," where are...you going in such a hurry...?"
"I was going to go wake Link up. You wanna come?" (Y/n) asked with a smile as Saria nodded, giggling slightly at the though of waking up their friend. Link would always be one of the last kids to wake in the forest so it always brought a great amount of fun for the two to wake it up and see his cute/sleepy angry face.
"What are you planning to do today, Saria?" (Y/n) asked as Saria shrugged, looking up at the sky with a smile.
"I was going to hang out with the twins. You can come too if you want. It can be like a girls day or something. We can play dress up, braid hair-" Saria offered as (Y/n) stuck out her tongue, shaking her head.
"Gross, you know I hate that girly stuff," (Y/n) pretended to be disgusted as Saria laughed, nodding.
"Yeah, I knew it was a long shot but hey, I tried didn't I?" The two girls laughed, looking up to see their's friends house just a little ways away. As the two girls got closer, they saw their friend walk out of his tree house, yawning as he rubbed his eyes.
"Aw, he's up already..." (Y/n) pouted as Saria giggled as waved to Link, "Link~!"
The boy turned his head, smiling softly as the two girls came up to his house. He carefully climbed down his ladder, jumping the rest of the way and turning to the two girls with a tired smile," good morning guys..."
"Morning? Its the afternoon, Link," Saria pointed out with a giggle as Link frowned, looking up at the sky to see the sun right above them.
"...Oh..." He smiled rubbing the back of his neck nervously as both girls tried not to laugh. A small blue fairy flew out from underneath the boy's hat, flying around the boys head with a little jingling sound," Link~ We need to go now!"
"Wow! You got a fairy, Link!" (Y/n) gasped, looking to the small blue ball of light as Link looked to it, smiling.
"Yeah. This is Navi. Navi, these are my friends, Saria and (Y/n)," Link looked from the fairy to the girls who were both smiling brightly at the sight of the small creature.
"This is so cool, Link. Congrats~!" Saria clapped her hands together as (Y/n) nodded in agreement.
"Thanks guys..." Link's smile turned into a frown as he looked to his friend (Y/n), looking down," I'm sorry you still don't have a fairy, (Y/n)..."
"Huh? Oh, no, its fine, Link. I don't need a fairy anyways. Right now I'm just happy for you," (Y/n) smiled widely as Link nodded, looking up at her. Yes, (Y/n) was a tiny bit jealous that Link had a fairy now but she wasn't lying when she said she was happy for him really she was.
"Yeah but...I wish the great deku tree would have sent you a fairy like he sent me Navi..." Link went on as (Y/n) just shook her hands in front of her.
"Its really fine, Link. Don't worry about me," (Y/n) insisted, shaking her hands in front of her with a smile.
"Link~" Navi whined, floating around his head like any fairy would," we got to get going, remember~"
"O-Oh, yeah, I almost forgot!" Link nodded, looking to the fairy then his friends," I'm sorry I can't stay and talk longer but Navi said that the great deku tree wants to see me."
"Really?! The great deku tree wants to talk to you, that's amazing, Link!" Saria's eyes went wide as did (Y/n)'s. The great deku tree was well known throughout all the kokiri's. The great deku tree projected them from monsters and other things that could cause harm to them, it was a hung honor to speak to him one on one.
"What does he want to talk to you about?" (Y/n) asked as Link shrugged, thinking for a moment before shaking his head.
"Don't know. But after I'm done talking to him, we can all come hang out, okay?" Link looked up to the two hopefully, hoping he wouldn't miss any fun.
"Yeah, when your done, come find us alright?" (Y/n) smiled as Saria nodded.
"Okay. See you two later then," Link smiled, turning as he followed his blue fairy off down the path, heading towards the great deku tree. Both girls looked to each other, chatting on what the deku tree would tell Link. They were only children, curiosity was their game. However, the whole time (Y/n) had weird feeling in her stomach, one that made her feel sick. She worried that something would happen while Link talked with the old tree in the woods. She felt like he was going somewhere far away from some reason though, she couldn't find out just why.
