~Two Weeks Later~
"Excuse me! Coming through, coming through..."
Have you ever tried running through an airport at four a.m. with about a hundred screaming girls at your heels? Let's just say, it isn't exactly the way I would like to spend my morning.
The cries and screams started getting closer and even more overpoweringly loud. We all had to pick up the pace, in order to have any chance of boarding our flight relatively unscathed, which we managed to do.
Breathing in a sigh of relief, I sat down in the plush, comfortable seat next to Louis'. Management had booked us a private plane so that we wouldn't have to spend the whole flight signing autographs and taking pictures.
Right after we took off, I turned to Lou and asked him if he was excited for our trip. He responded with a snore. I couldn't blame him, it was around 4:30 in the morning. As soon as I realized how darn early it actually was, I could feel my eyes starting to droop, and I let myself fall into a dark, deep sleep.
I woke up to the sound of a cow mooing, seemingly, right next to me. Wait...WHAT?!
My eyes shot open and I looked to my right, finding Lou keeled over, laughing hysterically. Seeing that he had his iPhone in his hand, I grabbed it and looked at what was open. He was on YouTube and an audio of a mooing cow was paused.
He sat up and tried to talk between gasping for air from all his giggling and snorting.
"I...gasp...was bored...gasp...so I searched it up....gasp...and put it to your ear. You...gasp...should have seen yourself wake up...gasp. Oh my god."
He then erupted into another fit of laughter.
"Oh Lou. You have a whole rack of DVDs, Paul, a flight attendant and the rest of the boys..." I glanced over the row to the cluster of seats across from ours where Zayn, Niall and Harry were sitting and saw they were all fast asleep. Oh.
"Okay, maybe not the rest of the boys but still. You have a lot of options to keep you entertained, why did you have to choose to wake me up?"
"I'm sorry mate, I guess I wasn't thinking about that."
"It's okay Lou. Come to think of it, I'm ninety-nine percent sure I would've done the same thing."
My eyes wandered over to the rack of DVDs beside me, and in a few seconds, they settled on the newest James Bond movie, Skyfall. For some reason, I never had a chance to see it in the theater, and what better way to kill time than with two and a half hours of explosions?
"Hey mate, wanna watch Skyfall with me?"
"Sure, seems like a good way to pass the time. Until the rest of the boys wake up anyway."
It turned out that the boys woke up an hour later, while we were in the middle of the movie. So we moved our little theatre showing to the couch in the back of the plane that had a TV hanging above it and watched the rest of the movie accompanied by Paul and all the food (mostly scarfed down by Niall).
We then proceeded to watch two other movies before returning to our respective seats and relaxing for the last half an hour of the flight.
Finally, we landed and slid off the plane. Yes, slid. Management had gotten us a humongous inflatable slide instead of a staircase because Niall had seen it in a TV show or something and wanted to try it out. It was, surprisingly, much more fun than it looked.
