Prologue

( Starlene's POV )

In the part of this realm there's a kingdom, named Veraline. An amazing kingdom with beautiful buildings and people. And the scenery beyond gorgeous. And magic which runs the realm, it's the order here.

And the royal family is as kind and wise as any should be. Their guards, are serious as ever, like military soldiers preparing for battle. The cooks calmly pacing across tiles, ingredients in hand and on platters. Peeled, diced, simmered, chopped and seasoned to perfection. The Butlers keeping everything in check, the maids cleaning, making everything spot less, making sure their masters are well and up to par.

And me as the royal advisor;
Same age as the prince from my childhood, my best friend;
Who is no longer a child, but a handsome young man..who I've known own for as long as I can remember.

( Adrian's POV )

This kingdom is my duty to protect; my family, my friends and it's people. I'm the prince and stuff; but even I have to keep somethings deep inside and under lock and key..but I threw that key away..and I don't know if I'll ever get it back..

Starlene...
My best friend..
I've known you for years..
Her...maybe it's because of you..

The feelings locked away stir inside of me trying to create the ulitmate soup. With the most amazing ingredients; seasonings and chefs preparing it and making it....But there's one thing missing and no one knows where to look or find it..they don't even know what it might be.. But when I'm with her it's like it doesn't even matter; she can just make it work, she makes everything harmonize together..
Maybe..just maybe..she's the thing missing. The only one that make that incredible soup..

She's beautiful;
But we are no longer children,
Like the kingdom during it's nightfall;
She shines through the darkness because she is a star, truly one of a kind.
