He Finds Out You Cut c.t.h.

You and Calum had been dating for about six months now and have become extremely close.

The first two months you and Cal kept your relationship a secret, but the fans eventually did find out. Since then you've received more death threats and hate messages than you could handle. It became too much one night and you began to cut.

He had seen you cry before like when you guys watched Toy Story 3 when the toys were going into the fire, but he had never seen the tears of pure hate. 5sos had very opinionated fans who weren't afraid to tell you what they thought of you.

You never told Calum when you did it the first time, or the second time, or the third time. You plastered a fake smile on and pretended that you were okay.

Right now you and Calum were getting ready for bed. He said that he wanted to cuddle so he came over.

"Y/N don't leave me!" He whined as he clutched your arm. For the past five minutes you had tried to leave the couch to change into your pj's but he wouldn't let you. "Cal I'm only gonna change into my pj's, that's all." You tell him.

"Why don't you change later?" He asked. "Because I don't want to." You huff. "Baby..." He pouts. "No. Now let me go." You give him a pointed look.

With a sigh he releases your arm, and you quickly run upstairs before he can change his mind.

You pull out one of Calum's t-shirts he had left at your house and basketball shorts that would cover the cuts on your thighs.

You took your pants off, throwing them on the floor. You examine yourself in the mirror as all the fans hateful words fill your voice.

'She's so fat.'

'Look how ugly she is.'

'I can't belive Cal would stoop this low!"

'I know right, he deserves way better.'

'I bet she's only with him for the money.'

You heard Calum gasp as he stood behind you, looking at the cuts that littered your legs. You look up to see tears of his own welling in his eyes. "Y/N." He whimpers. You had never heard a more broken sound leave his lips.

"Why did you do it?" He breaks the silence. "I don't know..." You mumble. "Yes you do, now tell me." He urges gently, coming to stand at your side.

"Well, the fans are really good at pointing out my flaws and telling me I'm not good enough for you." You tell him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks you sadly as he takes your hand. "Because I didn't want to see me so broken down." You reply with a sniffle. "Babygirl I'm here for you in your best and worst times. Don't listen to what they say. True fans will accept you because I love you." He says, holding you close to his body.

"You- you love me?" You ask with wide eyes.

Your heart soared as his cheeks flushed red and he nodded shyly. You had figured out you loved him long ago, but you were too scared to tell him. You were scared of rejection.

"I love you too Cal." You whisper. He smiles and leans in, capturing your lips in a kiss, mumbling an "I love you so f*cking much" against your lips.

"Next time you feel like cutting please tell me baby. I can't stand the thought of you hurting yourself." He tells you. "I promise I will." You hold out your pinky to him.

His tan calloused finger wraps around yours. He brings your crossed fingers up to his lips and presses a kiss to them, never breaking eye contact with you.

All you could think is, "How did I get so lucky?"
