Ugh. High School. What fun. Like seriously, why can't it just be like, elementary and then, boom! You're done! Set for life! You can become a doctor, a lawyer, anything you want!

But... That will never happen. Education is too important for us humans in order for us to survive, and to make a living. That wasn't sarcasm.

Anyways, after thinking about how good life would be without high school is making me feels bitter.

"- so yeah, she's super pretty and funny, and she-"

Shannon is now nearly ranting about her crush that's on the Internet. She met her on tumblr (wow, who knew it was a freaking dating site like E Harmony?!"). I sigh and pick at my pizza roll.

I have no real friends, I consider everyone equally, no one near the friend zone but they don't get the idea. They presume that I think of them as friends, but no. I don't. Shannon is one of my naive peers.

Shannon kept on going and going, making the snowball pick up speed and roll faster. I rolled my eyes, got up and walked to the trash chute. Since there were a massive amount of kids in the cafeteria I tried to doge and swerve around them but I tripped and fell.

I landed with a loud thump and I realized I averted everyone's attention to me. After standing up, snickers and whispers exploded throughout the cafeteria. Suddenly, a wave of panic washed over me.

Shit not again.

My face flushed and my head spun 360 degrees. I tried to walk away but their was too many bodies and I couldn't pass. I felt hands grope my arms, pats on my back, and people dusting me off,
but that only escalated my nerves. I started to walk quicker and quicker, sweat dripped down my face. Finally I got out of the cafeteria and into the halls.

My heart slowed but the world was still spinning, and nausea took me over. I started to run.

When I reached the washroom, my head was spinning like crazy, and I could barely stand. I went to the nearest toilet, threw up my pizza rolls and collapsed. I buried my head in my hands, ready to cry but I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked behind me.

"Are you alright?"

STEVIE BOEBI

"No! Jennifer Lawrence is like, the hottest."
"Yeah sure Rose."

I took a sip of my smoothie and checked my phone. It was 12:36, lunch time for all of the students.

The cafeteria was enormous, with vending machines lined up against the walls, containing loads of chips and drinks, but extremely pricey. There was a soft serve ice cream stand, but it was taken away when Jackson Grand started a good fight by throwing the ice cream at the student body.

I thought about getting a bad of chips but I remembered I promised to diet with Rose. Ugh I would die for some chips right now.

"Stevie, look it's Ally Hills and Shannon Beveridge ."

That jolted me out of my thought about chips. Gosh, they were popular and always caught attention in the cafeteria, and pretty much everywhere. Shannon Beveridge is on the basketball team, very sporty and good-looking but she's not straight. Lots of guys was going for her, until she came out last year. Now tons of girls are hitting on her. I wish her luck.

Ally Hills is also very popular, and beautiful. She's known to be a talented musician and a comedian. I've never talked to her, because I've always been too scared, and plus, she's too popular for a nerd like me. I love to read and watch YouTube and I doubt she does.

I smiled to Rose,
"Yeah I see her."
" I heard she swings the other way... If you know-"
"Rose, of course I know what you mean."
She snorted, and took a bite of her salad.
"Geez, you're straight so I thought you didn't."
I gave her a lopsided smile, and continued eating.

Ally suddenly got up, and walked towards the trash chute, but she tripped and a big clang silenced the cafeteria. Rose looked up and snickered. I saw her get up and blush. Her face turned bright red as she tried to push through the people. I got up and walked towards her.

"Stevie?"

There were so many people it was impossible to get to her.

Jeez. People please mind your own business like seriously. Can't you guys just stop harassing her?

I trailed her into the washroom, and I feel kind of bad for stalking her. She probably wanted to be left alone but I wanted to see if she was alright.

"Bleugh!"

She was puking, and I don't blame her. I would feel sick too. I knelt on the white tiled floor and rested my hand on her shoulder. She turned.

A electric spark surged through the air between us.

"Hi. What the hell are you doing?"
