Rove: we never expected this

Everyone meet Elise

*continuing on from the last chapter of the original book, Elise was born not that long ago and dove and Ryan have just decided upon the name Elise Madison McCartan, they are enjoying having a cuddle with the name addition to their family when doves sister walks in with their two oldest children, twins Alfie and Charlotte, having learned to walk about 4 months ago they stumble over to their dad who is sat in a chair next to dove they both smile a huge smile as he helps Alfie onto the bed next to dove and pick up Charlotte to place her on his lap*
Claire: I'll come back in a few minutes once you had some time alone and I've called mom who's almost here and Ryan your sister is on her way.....with your parents she tried to stop them but they insisted on coming
Ryan: great! Not
Dove: thanks sis
*claire leaves*
Dove: it'll be fine
Ryan: I hope so
Dove: hey guys are you okay? We've got someone we'd like you to meet, Char, Alf this is Elise your baby sister
*Alfie reaches out and touches her face and dove giggles at how adorable it is*
Ryan: now just remember that doesn't mean we love you guys any less because we don't
Dove: so just be nice and gentle because she's fragile right now and so is mommy
*they keep talking and laughing for a while until her sister walks back in*
Claire: hey can we come in? Moms here too
Ryan: come on in
*claire and Bonnie walk in*
Bonnie: my baby had another baby! I feel so old right now
*they all laugh*
Claire: she's beautiful
Dove: thanks
Bonnie: what's her name?
Ryan: Elise Madison
Claire: that's so cute
Dove: well Maddie is the character that brought us together so it seemed like a logical choice
Bonnie: it is really sweet
Dove: what time is it?
Ryan: umm 12:09am
Dove: God is it really?
Ryan: yep
Bonnie: well we'll let you guys get some rest
Ryan: thank you guys
Bonnie: are you guys okay or would you like me to take the twins back to yours and I'll watch them for a while
Dove: uh mom me and the baby have to stay here for a couple of days, it's just a precaution but still
Claire: well we can all take it in turns and pitch in
Ryan: and they can come here during the day
Dove: are you sure you guys don't mind?
Bonnie: of course not sweetie
Dove: then okay
Claire: I'll stay and wait for your family Ryan
Ryan: oh yeah
Dove: could you send them in when they get here
Claire: uh yeah sure
Dove: thanks
Ryan: I'll come help you sort out the car seats really quick if you're okay on your own Chlo
Dove: yeah I could use a few minutes just to myself and the baby
Ryan: okay I'll be back in a couple of mins
Dove: okay bye mom, bye kids
*they leave and dove just sits there playing with Elise trying to make her laugh which she does a few times and then Ryan comes back*
Ryan: hey
Dove: hey
Ryan: you sure you want my folks near you right now
Dove: ry she is their granddaughter
Ryan: I guess
Dove: can you take her I'm gonna have a nap
Ryan: okay
*dove hands Elise to Ryan and he smiles at her as she falls asleep, Ryan rocks Elise gently*
Ryan: your mommy's a cutie isn't she, I think that's where you get it from little angel
