What is love?
It's overused very much to the point were people are scared of the word. As if their person doesn't actually mean it. But me, I say it with so much passion I might as well melt.

I was walking into our shared apartment I had just remodeled it to the way I thought was "high class"

High class meaning decor that had dark wood that was bought from the thrift stores across town.

Niall insisted on getting thousands of dollars worth of remodeling and I almost had a heart attack. I would just tell him, 'what is better than this?'

"I mean c'mon it's really nice" I say looking at it in awe.

He kisses my cheek and walks ahead of me into the living room, "if you're happy I'm happy"

"Thank you." I smile cheekily at him and sit next to him on the couch. Then deciding I would be more comfortable in his lap.

I straddle him and stare at his blue eyes. We haven't exchanged those 3 little words that hold so much meaning yet. He's been through some things that those words probably need explaining and reasoning. I smile at him and kiss his lips.

I whisper in his ear "I love you." I felt him tense under me. His grasp on my waist tightens as if this means he's going to loose me. I kiss his cheek.

"I'll give you your explanation that I know you need and the reasons why." I start.

"No (y/n) you don't have to. I promise." He says which I can tell is a huge lie.

I narrow my eyes at him, "liar." I smile.

"I love you because your heart is so big it engulfs me. I love you because when you laugh I can't help but laugh as well. You always keep me in a good happy mood and I love you so much for that. You've saved my life multiple times. I love your random freckles on your neck. I also love your little dimple. It's very cute. I love you as Niall Horan not the Niall Horan. Understand that I truly mean these words with all my heart."

He smiles so big I couldn't help but smile back.

" L is for listening to you when you need me.
O is for overlooking all those inexistent flaws " I laugh a little he just smiles and shakes his head.

"V is for value. I value your being so much. I can't be the person I am without you.
E is for encourage. I will encourage you in everything. If you want to drop one direction and pursue golf I'll be right there or visa versa. If you want to play a game with the boys dressed up in sumo wrestlers I will be there cheering you on." He cracks up and kisses me.

"You didn't have to explain it to me just something with you when you said it I already knew. I love you too with all my heart."

THIS wasn't good at all I just whipped if up in 5 minutes just wanted something out there
