Tonks PoV:

*pop*. Arii and I just appeared to King's Cross! Wow! I'm surprised we didn't get splinched or something crazy like that! I haven't apparated I'm forever, let alone taking another person with me!
Ahem- anyways.

"Blimey..... Is this place always this busy?" Arii asked, looking around in amazement.

"Gosh, Arii, I couldn't tell ya. I've rarely been here at King's Cross. I'm guessing yes, mate." I replied. It's true, out of all the times I've been to Hogwarts, I honestly haven't been on Platform 9 & 3/4 since my Hogwarts years.

"Well, this place is bloody brilliant! Beauxbatons never ''had as much life and energy as this place does! Sure, we'd wait at a station, but it would always be a boring carriage full of chavs...."

I noticed Arii started to trail off, as her eyes grew redder and started to water a bit.

"A-Arii...? Are you alright, love...?" I've never been very good with cheering people up. Oh the woes of being awkward.

"Y-yeah.... Just... thinking of how I'm not going to Beauxbatons just reminds me of the reason J can't... It reminds me that Father is gone..." Arii tried to stammer through light sobs. Hearing her pain reminded me that I, too, lost a cousin...

As my eyes started to water too, as I pulled Arii in tight for a hug.

"It's okay, love. All I can say is you get in Gryffindor, and you make Sirius-" I let go of the hug and turned her around face to face "-And me, proud." I said.

Arii nodded. She's never been an emotional person. To some she could come off as emotionless, and apathetic. I've been taking care of her this year, so I've come to know her as much as she could let another person know her. That nod was a promise. Arii didn't break her promises.

"Gah- Enough tears. We both ought to toughen up. Oh, and I think that's the train I hear. You excited?" I asked, determined to change the subject.

"I'm so excited I'm like a boiling cauldron!" Arii said, laughing lightly and wiping away her tears.

"Before you go... I've got one last thing for you." I said. I sure hope she likes it. She better like it, and I expect her to use it.
I reached into my bag. Oh my, where the heck is it! Tonks you are so stupid! Don't tell me I forgot it.....- Aha! Got it!

"Here, love." I said, pulling out a tiny birdcage, containing and even tinier bird.

"Um.... This owl is the size of a bloody peanut... How am I suppose to write anything if the owl would crush just under the bloody pressure of oxygen!?" Arii asked, seeming concerned/amused/confused.

"Blimey, Arii! You sure you're not actually a muggle?" I retorted, jokingly.
"Engorgio!" I said, pointing my wand at the owl, growing the bird and the birdcage to actual size.

Arii rolled her eyes and gave a nod of thanks.

"So what're you going to name him?" I asked, somewhat secretly hoping she'd say Tonks.

"Hm..... I'm going to name him Sirius." She said certainly. Of course, Sirius isn't Tonks, but I couldn't have picked a better name myself.

"Brilliant! Well, the trains a-waitin'" I said, motioning to the train behind us.
Arii nodded in acknowledgment and turned around, heading towards the train.

"Oi! Write once you've gotten into Gryffindor!" I called to her, waving through the wave of people. She yelled something back that I couldn't exactly hear- but I think it was something like 'yes' or 'goodbye'.

I walked away from the crowd, and after getting to a clear space free of muggles, I turned on my heel and disapparated.

Arii PoV:

"BUT WHAT IF I DON'T MAKE IT INTO GRYFFINDOR?!" I called back to Tonks, but I lost her bright purple hair in the crowd, so I'm guessing she left. Dammit! Ah well- I can always write to her.

After I boarded the train, I found the first empty compartment and entered. After putting my trunk below my seat and Sirius beside me, I fed him some seeds that Tonks also gave me.

I once again I tried to look out the window and find Tonks- but she was nowhere to be seen.

After the conductor announced his final 'All aboard!', the train started moving. Still no one entered my compartment, yet I was fine with that. It gave me time to think.

Tonks was so insistent that I end up in Gryffindor. I understand. Half of the family... well, most of the family, ended up in Slytherin, and look at them now. They're all in He Who Must Not Be Named's inner circle. The other half were in Gryffindor and they were heroes!
Maybe I'm starting to wonder too.

--------

I drifted off into a deep sleep, I think. I'm walking down a long, dark corridor with no windows. The only lighting was coming from serpent-shaped torches that gave off an evil glow. I'm waking up to a dungeon door.

"Pureblood" I say, with a distinctive hissy accent. I can't tell if I said it in reality, if this is a dream, or.... I'm just in another state of being right now? It's like a vision.... It's like two nights ago, with my Uncle Pettigrew...

The door .

The bald man started to turn around. As soon as I got a glimpse of his red, snake-slit eyes, I woke up screaming.

--------

In the time that I was having this vision, other people had entered my apartment.
They were now all staring at me. They look frightened, confused, and uncomfortable.

"I-I'm sorry. Nightmare." I said. They all nodded, but one boy in green and silver accented robes just kept staring at me...
