Toby turned on the lights and I saw a chair and a bed. I looked at Toby.
"You can sleep in the bed if you want" Toby motioned towards the bed. I looked at it and walked over. I set my bag down.
"It's just really dark in here" he continued to say.
I nodded and he smiled at me, his sharp incisors showing. I cringed. Toby closed the door and I heard a lock. I ran over to the door.
"But what if I have to go to the bathroom!" I shouted, hoping he would hear me.
I heard him yell back, "There's a bucket in the corner." I looked at the far right corner of the room.
"Ugh, gross" I said to myself, annoyed.
I continued to unpack my bag and found my pajamas at the bottom. I quickly changed into them. I folded back the comforter and a plume of dust flew from it. I waved my hand in front of my face and coughed.
"Forget that" I said to myself.
I folded the comforter back up. Luckily, I had brought a small blanket that would sufficiently keep me warm. I unfolded it and flopped on the bed. I laid on my back and looked up at the ceiling. I realized I had to turn the light off. I didn't want to get up though and Toby did say it got pretty dark in this room. I decided to leave the light on. I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep. I couldn't. I ended up getting out my book and reading for a little while. I was reading a book about the history of this mansion. After a while, I started to get freaked out, so I shut the book and tried to go back to sleep.

I woke up to the smell of meat. I put on the slippers I had packed and opened the door. I guess Toby had unlocked it during the night or this morning. Vampires didn't sleep so it could've been at any time. Anyways, I proceeded to follow the smell. I ended up going upstairs and finding the kitchen. I knocked on the door and heard a voice say, "Come in." I walked in and saw it was Toby.
"Morning," he said to me. "Did you use the bucket?,"
"Hell no I didn't. It's not even sanitary" I said.
He turned around and looked at me with fierce eyes. "Yeah, well we don't have that good of plumbing around here for your information."
He turned back around and continued to cook. He was making sausage, bacon, and an egg. I peered over his shoulder as much as I could to see.
"Isn't that a lot of meat?" I asked.
He continued to have his back to me. "Esther, I'm a vampire. We're made to eat a lot of meat. I slaughtered the pig this morning. The chickens make eggs almost every morning" he said.
My eye cringed. I grabbed a chair and went to sit down.
"That's my seat," Toby said. "And the one beside mine is Jack's chair. You may sit anywhere else if you desire" he said.
"Alright then" I said and grabbed a chair on the opposite side of Jack and Toby's chairs.
I sat down. Ten minutes later, Toby called Jack for breakfast. They got their food and sat down. I got up and went to get some food when I realized it was all gone. I saw Toby look at me from the corner of my eye.
"Did you want something?," Toby asked.
"YES! I'm starving!" I said.
"There's some leftover eggs in the fridge" Toby motioned at the fridge and then continued to eat.
