Don't worry about it!

Chapter 13 - defeated

"Tiger has a huge operation on his  brain today, to get rid of his brain cancer. He didn't want you there so he wouldn't upset you!" His mum said in tears
I was speechless. I needed to see him.
"Can we go?" I asked
Quickly, we jumped into the car and drove the short journey to the hospital before almost running to his room.

"Knock knock. Hey T!" I said softly
"Oh hey B!" his quirky side smirk made me tingle inside!

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked confused and nervous on what the reply would be.

"Well..I didn't want you to see me like this. I wanted to have gone through surgery and become better. I'm really sorry I didn't call!"
"Oh don't worry! I'm just glad your okay!" I gave him a little kiss on the cheek and he held my hand. He was still very weak.

Isla nudged me and pointed to the bag.

"Oh I almost forgot! This is for you..."
I opened the loud plastic bag, reached in and grabbed a small box.
Tiger took it from me, opened it and gasped.

"Oh Bea you shouldn't have!" He was super happy!

"I know you love playing the guitar. I wanted something special for you!" I replied.

It was a silver guitar pick with "i love you" engraved on it.

We all talked for a while when the doctor came in and said it was time for Tigers surgery.

I have him a huge good luck hug and held his sweet little hand all the way down the corridor.

"Good luck!" I said before he was wheeled into theatre.

My heart was beating really fast! I hope he does alright!

We are all worried. His mum was shaking, his dad has pacing and the rest of us were sitting there in complete silence.
All of a sudden panic rushed through me! Will be survive?
Will be remember who I am?
Will he be the same Tiger I fell in love with?
Isla noticed that I wast okay and we slowly went to a cafe in the hospital. She hugged me all the way.

As we were drinking out hot chocolates, I got a text from Ben.
"Hey you might want to come back now! Be quick, Tigers out of surgery..."

We practically ran to his ward as I couldn't hold my excitement!! TIGER HAVE DEFEATED CANCER!

When we got there everyone was glum. We are confused and walked to Tigers room.
"Knock knock.." I said opening the door.
"It's Bea and Isla." I said again confused
I couldn't see my boyfriend.
He wasn't in the room.
"Where's Tiger?" Isla asked
My eyes started to fill up. He had died hadn't he! Why!!!!

"BEA!!"
I heard a voice behind me..
"TIGER!" I ran to him and squeezed him tightly!
He was wheeled into his space in the room and we all had to leave. Visiting towns were over and i couldn't see him until tomorrow.
